Not many Halloween Horror Night houses at Universal Orlando are reused but Beetlejuice was one of them. Even through the house was recycled from the previous year it still managed to be better than all the new houses for Halloween Horror Nights 30! This video goes over the history and an in-depth walk through of the Beetlejuice haunted house.

If there’s any one main person beside Keyton that has played Beetlejuice. That nailed the vocal pitch his mannerism and his personality perfect that’s a big main voice actor. It was Alex Brightman who voiced him in the musical play adaptation of Bettle juice.
i saw the musical and it was kinda terrible
it's my absolute dream to play this character for a Universal park someday 😆 I've been Beetlejuice for minor stage roles in Jacksonville and know how to do the voice decently well (not perfect, but been told it sounds very similar to the movie) and even did the iconic "It's Showtime!" line in the voice when meeting the character at the park; the performer was impressed and gave me a fist bump and said "great job kid, like looking in a mirror..." before taking a photo. Not sure if it was actually good or if they were just being nice though
4:18 there’s an old twilight zone episode called “stopover in a quiet town” where a couple finds themselves trapped in a model town, but i wouldn’t be surprised if there’s other instances of similar plots pre-dating that. honestly there’s a lot of twilight zone episodes that have characters end up stuck in some empty city/house that’s at least comparable to a miniature display/dollhouse (things are obviously fake/do not function, there’s a sense of being watched or toyed with, etc.) even if the twist turns out to be something else

It’s sad that this house was during the Covid. Many of the room looks empty because of the distancing.
Agreed, I hope Universal revisits the house with a beetlejuice beetlejuice version in the future

@@not8park my dad had to auction it and the fact that I was literally 8 when I went through the house and now I’m 11 and have been going for years is crazy. I’ve been going in these years
2017 (3 years old) no houses just bill and Ted show.
2019 (5 years old) stranger things, ghostbusters, and killer klowns and the academy of villains show
2021 (8 years old) all ten houses and the shows
2022 (9 years old) all ten houses and the shows
2023 (10 years old) all ten houses and the show.
2024 (11 years old) will be doing all ten houses and the show/maybe shows.

Wicked growth for me was the best house for hhn 30.
Beetle Juice was the worst house I’ve ever been in. I went thru 3 times and it was EMPTY. No scare actors , I literally yelled “HELLO?!” as I walked thru.
When did you go through the house? If it was later in the season, it’s possible scare actors dropped. I did address the spacing of the scare actors as a con of the house
@@not8park I’m a local with the frequent fear pass, I went 3 times in that house the entire season. On my second time I even had a team member in front of me walking backwards making the gesture of “keep walking” with a glow stick. They were walking in front of me the entire house telling me “KEEP MOVING KEEP MOVING!” Dude it was awful.
Happy you got a better experience tho. Beetle Juice is one of my fav movies ever.

I have no idea, I was more speculating that it's not impossible since The Exorcist: Believer had a house that opened before the theatrical release. Going off speculation maps, it seems like it won't be a thing this year

I am so glad I never went to HHN during the covid time. Uni putting the actors behind plexiglass, but then still requiring them to wear face masks was utterly retarded. Made them look stupid. Do one or the other. The plexiglass also destroyed any fear of jump scares cause you knew where the actors were.

your argument for Beetlejuice being the best for HHN 30 is because of the iconic music?
From my perspective, this house is a complete joke. Minimal theming with many gaps in sets, an overwhelming amount of left sided scares, the vortex tunnel with boring up and down ramps consuming a third of the house, poorly designed and condensed scenes, and sight lines just to name a few.
Meanwhile you had wicked growth that had a compelling storyline, great scares (with the least amount of plexi) and immersive sets the entire way through. Case files was 30% more theming than Beetlejuice but still managed to include great scares and a brand new storyline.
I went through Beetlejuice 2 times in 2020 and then Beetlejuice 5 times in 2021. I went 27 times to HHN 30 and every house was better than Beetlejuice (even TCM).
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the Beetlejuice theme as much as the next but I can hear that any day if I stand under the arches long enough.
Those are completely valid complaints on Beetlejuice, during HHN 30 I was only able to go a few times and majority of the houses weren't my cup of tea. In the few times I was able to go I personally remember Beetlejucie the most therefore I have it higher up, I can definitely see how wicked growth is better house but I did have a limited run going through the houses due to not being able to go 20+ times.
I enjoyed the pumpkin house the most!
