Get a bcm barrel nut wrench works perfect for buffer tubes also the magpul barrel nut wrench is my favorite for stuck castle nuts and the Geissele reaction block works wonders as well lol those three tools can make a hard core into a simple job plus the bcm barrel nut tool backs up against the Geissele block and makes it less likely to slip out and cause damage

you have to hit the stock with some penetrating oil and leave it for 10 min. It'll come out no matter what.
