I ended up choosing this base for my own custom avi that I painstakingly worked on for a few months. Before that I tested every single booth sample avi to see how well each worked with my full body tracking, and karin was easily the most accurate one LMAO
They can be, it usually depends on what amount of optimization one puts into it. The original model on this one has multiple points that would earn it a Very Poor rating on Quest as is (based on specs shown on the Booth page), but it can definitely be improved if you take it to Blender first.
I mean you can find public versions of the avi that are compatible with quest. Although out of all the public avis, only a couple avis like Rusk and Mamehinata have a well optimized quest version that comes built-in with the regular avi.
If you haven't figured it out or someone else is wondering its 44 88 21 0 7 , took my friend and i 6 hours to figure it out by going one number at a time.

And also if you watched the full video, you should have noticed that I said multiple times to actually purchase the base itself to customize this avatar to your liking.
In the terms of service for Karin, it says it's not allowed to be made public. The exact translation is, "Permission for use by third parties within the online service is prohibited." I did watch the entire video, but it's pointless to tell people to buy it, when you've told them to use the already illegal public ones.@@Parzeval
