I have catch a few crappies on bass baits but not jigs. I most fish for bass and bream. please let me know what colors to used. It been raining here too. We got over 4 inches as time. In murky water I like to use bright colors like chartreuse, orange, pink, and my favorite color is grey or a silver. In clear water I like to use white, gray, sliver, blue, black.
