  • A video showing how to add some length to the pocket of your catcher by "floating" the T. I show how to make a slight alteration to the perimeter lace and where to take it from there.

I've been doing this mod on all my gloves, and this is by far the best tutorial I have seen on it! This video alone makes the channel sub worthy!!

I have always just snipped the cross lace and pulled the ends through, then knotted those cut ends. I've found it makes the glove easier to close afterwards. Your way looks a bit cleaner though, where can I find one of those needles?

Like you said lots of different ways and I’ve always done them differently, but I like the look of this and will try it your way next time 👍🏻

Is this a service you would do for payment?

Yes, I usually need it for a couple days to have some sit down time with it. Between this, lacing repairs and pockets I do about 3-4 per month.

Would this be a similar or identical process to what the big companies such as factory mad do?

I think sometimes factory mad will cut the T, but I can't say for sure. The process itself is likely very similar.

I do this to all my gloves a 1.5 inch floating T is best mod ever. .. the fishing net huge floating T is too extreme.. even in beer league the glove would get tossed.. this is perfect minimal change yet huge benefit

Is it possible to lace the middle part of the glove on the eflex 5?

Have you ever refurbished a glove or fixed the internals? A video about taking it apart and putting back together would be huge!

I've taken them apart when they were laced too tight and I've taken out unnecessarily thick palms. It's a lot of work, but if someone brings me one I will make a video.

Does this mod still work with an offset T?
