I was in the concert where he sang this song he did all the parts clearly not missing any verse, that his supposed to do. I listen to this song all the time in repeat play. I saw him perform live just recently and He SINGS. he actually intentionally will not sing parts to show he is singing, all of BTS does this. Look up fancams of the performances where you can hear the actual singing audio better and you will see he actually sings every bit of this song live.

No-one focuses more on vocal expression and emotion while singing. Tae is the master of controlled emotive melancholy and depth in ballads such as Singularity ~ and in fast, aggressive songs he is so powerful in his performances some ARMY confuse it for his being truly angry. I am lucky to have seen BTS live 5 times~ Tae lives the meaning of the lyrics through his vocals. Tae’s voice is the core of his charisma and stage presence while singing. 💜

i went to one of bts concerts and he does sing all his verses, this performance video isn't the best one since you can't really hear him as much the backgrounds vocals sound louder than him in the video also i love his vocals so much his voice made me cry
I love V's voice. I know he can do even better, all he need is a very good experienced professional coach who can help him bring out his real vocal in him. I love his cover of "Someone Like You" by Adele. It shows his vocal pretty well, but keep in mind this cover was done when he was just a rookie.
His voice during the verses is always amazing, but I also really like Taehyung’s voice when he sings in choruses. His general tone just suits my hearing well, I really like it

현장에서 듣는 소리랑, 직캠으로 듣는 소리는 거의 비슷한데 지금 보신것처럼 방송으로 송출할 경우는 방송측에서 노래를 좀 까시는 것 같더라고요. 이런 점은 앞으로 참고하시면 영상을 고르시는데 도움이 되실 것 같아요. 현장에 있었던 사람으로서 한번도 립싱크라고 생각한 적 없었고 오히려 음원과 다른 생생함과 파워풀함에 반합니다ㅎㅎ 저는 방송송출에 라이브가 묻히는게 싫어서 꼭 직캠을 찾아봐요. 나중에 콘서트나 공연을 가시게 되시면 음원과 전혀 다른 매력을 느끼실거예요. 조심스럽지만 솔직한 리뷰 감사합니다:)

Thank you for your review. Taehyung is one of the most versatile singers with a wide vocal range and is not afraid to explore different genres. His actually a very stable live singer. The issue was the video's audio, maybe it was done that way to filter out all the screams he usually gets during his performance.
I have seen this performance in concert twice. Yes, there's a backing track but he's definitely singing live with it. You can hear his breathing and fluctuations that differ from the original recording.

Taehyung's voice is what attracts me to bts. He has a very distinctive soothing voice which is to my liking. His voice is everything....it's beyond beautiful.
True enough that there are backing vocals not only with BTS but most if not all of Kpop groups since the choreography in their performances are absolute crazy. I don't understand why vocal analysts even try to critic kpop groups since they know very well that no vocalist can stay pitch perfect while dancing really hard. Kpop is an amalgamation of visuals and auditory experience altogether and we should appreciate it as it is. I personally have so much respect to these groups since what theyre doing is not easy and I'd rather hear a few missed notes here and there than not attempt to sing at all and leave it all to the backing vocals.

우선 뷔의 싱귤래리티 리액션 잘보았습니다. 궁금한 것이 있는데 영상선택하실때 어떤 기준이 있거나 저작권 문제 때문인지 공식 싱귤래리티 뮤비로 리액션 못하신것이 아쉽습니다. 또한 공연 리액션은 웸블리 공연인 것으로 추정되는데, 6월에 vlive로 실황중게한 것을 녹화본으로 보신것 같아요. 그런데 실제 제가 웸블리라이브 실황중계 봤을때와 리액션하신 공연영상의 음향이 차이가 너무 심해서 영상에서는 뷔의 실제 노래소리가 잘 안들리는것도 같습니다. 러브유어셀프 공연도 실제로 몇회 관람하였고 여러 영상으로 거의 모든 공연의 직캠도 보았는데요 뷔는 라이브로 전곡 부릅니다.말씀을 굉장히 조심히 하셨지만, 애매하거나 헷갈릴수 있는 부분은 두리뭉실하게 표현하시는 것보다 다른 영상을 다시 보고 평가하겠다 하시는게 나았지 싶어 글을 쓰게 되었습니다. 방탄소년단 리액션영상 꾸준히 올려주셔서 감사합니다.
When I was in the concert I clearly heard his live voice he wasn’t lips syncing, I like his live voice more than studio version, I don’t know why in this video you can hear more backing vocals than his real vocals but in other fancams you can clearly hear he is singing live
공연을 가면 저 몸짓 표정 음색에 완전히 홀린 상태로 보게 되고, 항상 음원 수준의 라이브라고 느끼긴 했는데, 말씀하신대로 음정이 아주 정확할 순 없을 것 같아요. 고음에서 갑자기 몸을 움직이니 정확도는 조금 떨어질 수 있지만 그것도 자연스럽게 느껴지더라구요. 그런게 전혀 거슬리지 않게 만드는 것도 대단하고 그게 라이브 가수의 묘미인 것 같아요. 또 매 공연마다 컨디션도 다르니까요. 그런데 음향상태도 좀 영향을 미칠 것 같아요. 보신 라이브 영상은 유툽에 클립으로 올라와있는 것 같은데, 그런 식으로 녹화를 하거나 재업로드 하는 경우 음향 차이가 굉장히 심하더라고요. 라이브로 중계영상을 볼 때보다도 노래 소리가 잘 안들리는 느낌이였어요. 잘하는 건 당연하지만 어쨌거나 들리는대로 얘기해주시는 리액션도 좋아요 ^^
He is singing live, but in these videos you hear sometimes more the backing vocals. If you go to a bts concert, you will see that they all sing live 💜.
Im sorry but Taehyung doesnt lip sync. He may sound like it but really he doesnt. You should check the fancams. This one is from the Vlive where the audio is a bit different mixed c backing.. but being in the concert you can clearly hear him sing and how well he does it. He is so good that i always end up holding my breath for a couple of minutes throughout the song. It is that good.

큰서트는 아무래도 장기간 하는거라서 어쩔때는 굉장히 노래잘하고 어쩔때는 불안하기도하고요 그러나 춤을 저렇게 추면서 한다는거 자체가 볼때마다 감탄해요
태태의 최애 곡중 하나인데 들을 때마다 가슴 뭉클한 울림이 있는데다 노래 후반부로 가면서 감정을 폭발하게 만드는 마성까지 있어요. 싱귤레리티는 태태 목소리 특유의 섹시함과 애절함이 가득 담긴 명곡중의 명곡이라 할만해요.

현장에서 듣는 소리랑, 직캠으로 듣는 소리는 거의 비슷한데 지금 보신것처럼 방송으로 송출할 경우는 방송측에서 노래를 좀 까시는 것 같더라고요. 이런 점은 앞으로 참고하시면 영상을 고르시는데 도움이 되실 것 같아요. 현장에 있었던 사람으로서 한번도 립싱크라고 생각한 적 없었고 오히려 음원과 다른 생생함과 파워풀함에 반합니다ㅎㅎ 저는 방송송출에 라이브가 묻히는게 싫어서 꼭 직캠을 찾아봐요. 나중에 콘서트나 공연을 가시게 되시면 음원과 전혀 다른 매력을 느끼실거예요. 조심스럽지만 솔직한 리뷰 감사합니다:)

Thank you for your review. Taehyung is one of the most versatile singers with a wide vocal range and is not afraid to explore different genres. His actually a very stable live singer. The issue was the video's audio, maybe it was done that way to filter out all the screams he usually gets during his performance.

I have seen this performance in concert twice. Yes, there's a backing track but he's definitely singing live with it. You can hear his breathing and fluctuations that differ from the original recording.

보는 음악까지 충족시켜주는 태형의 싱귤무대...매번보면서 태형이가 아닌 누가 과연 이런걸 할수 있을까 생각하게됨...첫무대 공개시 충격적이였죠....5초마다 함성터지고 끝날때보면 내가 숨을 안쉬고 있었어 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 어떤가수든지 각자 개성이 있겠지만 특히 지민이나 태형의 무대퍼포먼스와 아우라는 독보적이죠? 완벽한 보컬기술로 소름끼치게 하는 가수는 넘쳐나지만 난 태형이 무대를 한번 더 보겠음....특히 음악프로같은데서 고음대결하는거 와~~잘한다 하는거 그때뿐이더라구요

i attended this show and you could really hear his vocals live compared to the live stream
Taehyung's voice is what attracts me to bts. He has a very distinctive soothing voice which is to my liking. His voice is everything....it's beyond beautiful.
True enough that there are backing vocals not only with BTS but most if not all of Kpop groups since the choreography in their performances are absolute crazy. I don't understand why vocal analysts even try to critic kpop groups since they know very well that no vocalist can stay pitch perfect while dancing really hard. Kpop is an amalgamation of visuals and auditory experience altogether and we should appreciate it as it is. I personally have so much respect to these groups since what theyre doing is not easy and I'd rather hear a few missed notes here and there than not attempt to sing at all and leave it all to the backing vocals.
you might say he didnt sing the verse part, but i think he is. we always get confuse too bcs his slow note are always exactly the same as the audio vers. check out other acoustic video where is sound the same! btw thanks for your opinion!

Please do watch the fancams cuz that clip is a studio version, of course they made the audio volume higher to bury the loud noises from the crowd, they sing live, they never lipsync especially on concerts
You should listen into a fancam. That footage that you watched had the backing vocals much louder

우선 뷔의 싱귤래리티 리액션 잘보았습니다. 궁금한 것이 있는데 영상선택하실때 어떤 기준이 있거나 저작권 문제 때문인지 공식 싱귤래리티 뮤비로 리액션 못하신것이 아쉽습니다. 또한 공연 리액션은 웸블리 공연인 것으로 추정되는데, 6월에 vlive로 실황중게한 것을 녹화본으로 보신것 같아요. 그런데 실제 제가 웸블리라이브 실황중계 봤을때와 리액션하신 공연영상의 음향이 차이가 너무 심해서 영상에서는 뷔의 실제 노래소리가 잘 안들리는것도 같습니다. 러브유어셀프 공연도 실제로 몇회 관람하였고 여러 영상으로 거의 모든 공연의 직캠도 보았는데요 뷔는 라이브로 전곡 부릅니다.말씀을 굉장히 조심히 하셨지만, 애매하거나 헷갈릴수 있는 부분은 두리뭉실하게 표현하시는 것보다 다른 영상을 다시 보고 평가하겠다 하시는게 나았지 싶어 글을 쓰게 되었습니다. 방탄소년단 리액션영상 꾸준히 올려주셔서 감사합니다.
한가지 말씀드릴것이 6월 중순 서울 머스터라이브 송출시에는 mr을 너무 크게 송출해서 실제 노래소리들이 많이 묻혔었습니다.차라리 음향을 제대로 캐치한 직캠이 더 라이브를 생생하게 들려줄때도 많습니다.참고하시길 바랍니다.

When I was in the concert I clearly heard his live voice he wasn’t lips syncing, I like his live voice more than studio version, I don’t know why in this video you can hear more backing vocals than his real vocals but in other fancams you can clearly hear he is singing live

립싱크는 절대 안해요! 다만 뒤에 깔린 목소리가 커서 라이브목소리가 잘안들리는거같아요ㅠ
뒤에 깔리는 목소리는 대부분의 아이돌들이 하는겁니다. 저런 춤을 추면서 음원그대로의 목소리를 내는건 서커스에 가깝습니다. 매우 잘하는겁니다.
공연을 가면 저 몸짓 표정 음색에 완전히 홀린 상태로 보게 되고, 항상 음원 수준의 라이브라고 느끼긴 했는데, 말씀하신대로 음정이 아주 정확할 순 없을 것 같아요. 고음에서 갑자기 몸을 움직이니 정확도는 조금 떨어질 수 있지만 그것도 자연스럽게 느껴지더라구요. 그런게 전혀 거슬리지 않게 만드는 것도 대단하고 그게 라이브 가수의 묘미인 것 같아요. 또 매 공연마다 컨디션도 다르니까요. 그런데 음향상태도 좀 영향을 미칠 것 같아요. 보신 라이브 영상은 유툽에 클립으로 올라와있는 것 같은데, 그런 식으로 녹화를 하거나 재업로드 하는 경우 음향 차이가 굉장히 심하더라고요. 라이브로 중계영상을 볼 때보다도 노래 소리가 잘 안들리는 느낌이였어요. 잘하는 건 당연하지만 어쨌거나 들리는대로 얘기해주시는 리액션도 좋아요 ^^
내 생각이지만 태형이는 재즈풍에 어울리는 음색같음
그래서 몽환적인게 잘 어울리는 것같음
이 목소리가 잘못하면 지루한 목소리가 될수잇는데 그겡 커버하는것같음ㅎㅎ

He is singing live, but in these videos you hear sometimes more the backing vocals. If you go to a bts concert, you will see that they all sing live 💜.

Im sorry but Taehyung doesnt lip sync. He may sound like it but really he doesnt. You should check the fancams. This one is from the Vlive where the audio is a bit different mixed c backing.. but being in the concert you can clearly hear him sing and how well he does it. He is so good that i always end up holding my breath for a couple of minutes throughout the song. It is that good.

Their video are restricted to some private channels downloading the video and re-uploading it under their name.
