I use this song when I can't sleep, His voice is so soothing and comforting! It is an amazing song!!!!
I really love this song because it is a step away from how he sings most times. He composed the song and I feel like this was him getting to try out a different style from how he usually sings. I think he meant for the song to be soft. Setting up more of a mood and a scene in your mind as he takes you on a journey about nature, which is what he loves and is singing about. I feel like he meant for his voice to be softer than it normally would be so that it is almost like a very light breeze as you walk through a forest.
His voice is naturally deep so when he sings. It basically almost like his normal voice

I totally get you, man! Honestly anyone who doesn't know V's actual talking voice would think he's singing out of his comfort zone but if you dig into it a little more you'd find out that it's his comfiest area of the voice to be in, he's been doing it for years upon years with too much ease to think otherwise. Great reaction btw!
I, too, felt like it was leading to a big release, but given the lyrics and mood of the song, I can see why they did that. He's singing about his "I wonder" and they are unresolved, never answered...almost like a reflective moment. I imagined it like you talking to yourself in your head saying all these things, but because you never had an answer so they remain up in the air.
This is actually my grandson's favorite lullaby. He is 3 weeks old and as soon as he listens to it when he fusses he calms down.
When he thought that Tae would go to a much intense chorus, I was like, big u thought! 😂 Tae is the type of composer who does everything you don't expect him to do, he's more on artistry than cliche, that's why I like bangtan so much, they always go beyond expectations
I think the way he sang his song was more of an artistic choice to emote the calmness, warmth and peacefulness that photography brings to him. Being able to capture beauty in a photo, the scenery that's in nature, ppl and just the world around us ☺️

I respect your reactions so much. In my opinion he left the mood there specifically. We all know he can do acrobatics with his voice. I love how he integrated the sounds of the snow and the camera, they have a special meaning for him.
taehyung’s voice always makes me cry. last time it was stigma when he reached that high note. it’s just so soulful and full of emotions into his voice along with the lyrics. it makes me feel like i have felt and experience all the things and emotions written in those songs even though not.

Taehyung has a very controlled voice and he can manage his breath (he can hold his breath underwater for 5 min if I remember correctly but for sure it was more than 3 which makes it so easy for him) and the song is in that vibe kinda type so it really doesn't need a high point and he isn't forcing his voice. He is surely talented

You're misunderstanding what he meant. He knows nothing about them as people, he's only focused on the music. He meant it could strain his voice if he spoke in a completely different register than what he was singing in. This is in Taehyung's range because his normal speaking voice is in this tone. He doesn't have that knowledge.
@@ebony7177 well you are wrong what he meant is that if he sung this song over a long period of time it would cause his voice to strain, because he's singing with a lot of breath not allowing the vocal cords to close, he ment this style of singing could cause strain on the voice.

I would recommend to check out member called jungkook! you noticed him in the boy with luv snl reaction video! he’s very stable while dancing and he has a lots of covers that maybe you could do a reaction video to some of them! also he was is the program called ,,The king of the masked singer’’ i believe and sang song called ,,If you’’ he was super great!
Tae actually did what one did not expect.. you would expect that high hook, but he just did other way around. And that is so special about this song. It is very Tae and very unusual,. If you listen this song from start to end, you just notice how very unusual and special it is. And that is why it is such a precious song.

The background sounds want to take the listener to a very cold and snowy day, while Taehyung is taking photographs with his Leica camera that is why he is using using the breathy voice he is singing in the snow, Taehyung's music has been a journey of sensations and feelings, he is singing mostly in falsetto and low register to create the sensation that is a song only for you and him. Taehyung himself composed the melody and made the arrangement even suggested the fx for the background snow and cameras clicking.

I can totally see your point, the first time I listened to Scenery, I also thought that the build up was gonna lead to something more extreme, but I think this direction actually fits the song mood and feel more, since he tries to display a more calming and soothing vibe. And the break in the song has already contributed to the climax enough. Just have to say, this song is one of those that shows his voice the most, and this is the closest to his speaking voice. You should react to 4 O'clock, a song by V and RM, to have a better understanding of his voice. Thank you for your reaction💜

I honestly think the choice not to go the way of building up to reach a grand climax in the song was right. I think we sort of always expect that in songs, like ok heres the bridge so the song should be reaching that climax that will make you go, YES. But I think the very subtle climb into the climax of the song, fits the mood and lyrics best. I truly think the text painting in this song is beautiful.
And also, that breathy quality to Tae's voice? That just how he normally sounds, that's how he speaks as well. I think this song is one of the most comfortable songs for his voice. Tae has an incredible voice range, but these type of songs, when you see him perform them live, you can tell that he is in his element. Not to mention the fact that he is an incredibly sensitive singer and the emotions he manages to convey in his songs just make you feel.

Great that you appreciated the song! This is V's original song, he composed it and wrote the beautiful lyrics. The fans are very proud of him. I think the great strength of all the BTS vocalists is to create atmosphere when they sing. Obviously, here the atmosphere is about being there with him as he is taking a walk through a winter scenery taking photos. I think this ability sets them apart from many other singers. So I don't agree with you, it would have been very conventional to have that "magnificent build-up". He could have easily done that, as you saw with Stigma, it certainly was a very deliberate choice not to do it.

You did mention how you couldn't imagine this song being performed live, and to the best of my knowledge, this isn't a song that is officially performed live. This is a song that Tae himself wrote (correct me if i am wrong) and released totally out of the blue, so it isn't included in any of BTS' albums or anything. It isn't even on Spotify 😢 There is a two minute clip of him singing a bit of the song during a concert, but it didn't have the instrumental or anything, it was just him singing to the fans a bit.

It's really cool that you're actually responding so much to the asks. I just hope it doesn't give you too much pressure and you don't overdo it, as I see in some initially neutral channels, which gradually turn to just k-pop channels as they get flooded with fans comments. Still, I think that when it comes to k-pop you could enjoy (and we, in the result) reacting to some Exo compilation. It's not my favourite group, but i think they may have the most impressive vocals out there. Not sure though, my knowledge is pretty shallow. Cheers!

Hello Adam! I have thought about your opinion and I understand it. Well you could say that the song despite being a waltz (if I'm not wrong) is quite particular. It really is a matter of context, because the song is of his total authorship and was only released in media like soundcloud because it was a "gift" for his fans, a song released by surprise one day. It is as if he were reading us a letter of affection. I really like "V" (Taehyung) because his voice is quite varied without losing his particular serious tone. By the way, I love your videos! I like your reaction to each song, you are quite professional and that is appreciated when it comes to knowing about vocalization. If I could advise you a song, it would be my favorite ofBTS: "Butterfly". Also, I recommend "Hug Me" by V together with J-Hope. It's a cover, I think you'll like it. Love from Chile!

Since you are a vocal coach and have had experience in singing and coaching people on how to use their voice, you are right about if V continues to use that breathy voice all the time live, he could damage his vocal cords. :) I think it's great advice for V. :)
Give jungkook a try, he's the most skilled and stable out of the group. Remember the adlibs from the boy with luv performance? Yep, that was him. I suggest going with euphoria
BTS vocal line (Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook) could actually sing in different styles and they are experts in singing with breathy voice. listen to their House of Cards, Butterfly and solo songs. you already listened to V's Stigma so listen to his Singularity if you haven't yet and his & RM's 4 o'clock, Jin's Awake and Epiphany, Jimin's Lie and Promise, Jungkook's Begin and Euphoria. kudos!
fyi, V made Scenery from scratch. Scenery was hailed as the best song for the month of March in Korea. V is now recognized as a music producer. he helped in several songs like Stigma, Run, Hold Me Tight and 4 o'clock but he worked solely on his song Scenery.

Also just to tell you maybe the reason why he sings so breathy is because of the Korean language- there are harsher sounds in it but most of the time the sounds you make are very soft and they tend to be quite breathy anyways. So that could be a reason.
