Fine jade necklace set with jadeite and diamonds in 18k.
The lavaliere design is a constellation of carved gourds, in a deeper green with high translucency.
The necklace wears in a dainty fashion but it is very eye-catching, the figural gourds spaced deliberately around the neck is similar to a great lace design.
The jade leads the eye because its translucency is striking - at necklace level these gourds work light in the best way, with some movement that is pleasing.
