Of a rich ‘blue green’, the jadeite has what jade connoisseurs sometimes refer to as a blueish hue in its dark green. It is this blue that gives its dark green its personality, and it’s also the rare trait that gives the green its depth.
In fact the ring is perfect in holding the cabochon East-West, so you can fully admire the panoramic spectrum of its color. The ring appears to convey a fisheye effect on the jadeite frontispiece.
