Great video!! I am glad I am not the only one who forgets what day it is! You have a great profit for being part time.
Thanks! And no, you are definitely not alone in that!
To get the thrift store marks off shoes I use "Pure Citrus Orange Air Freshener" . Spray a little on a paper towel then clean the mark off.
I have not heard that one yet. I will have to give it a try! Is there a specific brand?
seriously u r the most honest and realistic seller on UA-cam! Mat was decent. Not Nov good but holding steady going into sunmer. great video. I appreciate ur realness in the videos.
I appreciate that!
Happy Birthday 🎈🎁🎉. Hope you are having a great day…
Love the swim cover !!
Alcohol - as in rubbing. 😁
Love the crocs too. Super summer vibe.
I thought so too.
My sales this month were slow! But the good thing is it’s garage sale season so I’ve been finding a lot of good stuff!
Yes! Do you find your cost of goods is lower at garage sales?
@@JenntheReSeller yes!! I live in the upper Midwest and the thrift stores here price up.
Just came across your channel..and i subscribed! Love how you get a lot of details in little time! I appreciate you! ❤️
Thanks for watching!
Nicely done. Congrats!
Thanks so much!
dry erase marker over the ink then erase with the dry eraser black sponge, baby oil sometimes , lighter fluid on a rag , goof off (diy stores) or goo b gone , mr clean magic eraser try wet and or dry , a pencil eraser , acetone (nail polish remover) over the years with 4 kids you find different things and usually have a suitcase of tricks not a small bag lol well done on your sales goals !
Ha! Nice, thanks for the suggestions.
I hate it when the thrift stores put permanent markers on shoes! I had a pair of Vionic sandals and could not for the life of me get the marker off! I tried EVERYTHING to get it off but at least I was able to diminish and distort it to where it couldn't be read.
Oh that's good. These are not budging. I have tried almost all the hacks I have heard, and it's still as bright and clear as ever.
Like you, I also enjoy sourcing. As always, love your videos.
Thanks! Where is your favorite place to source?
If rubbing alcohol or goof off don't work, I would just color in the price with a black sharpie. Like make a square or circle and just color in the whole thing.
I think I'm going to have to do that.
It's May 31st Jenn ❤ My birthday is June 1st and that's tomorrow 🎉🎉🎉
We need to all go in together and get Jenn a wall calendar ❤
Happy Birthday! 🎂
Happy Birthday!!!!!
Ha!
And do you list everyday ?
Buying pointe shoes growing up was enough for my mom to get a part time job.. The things we do for our kids ❤️
Yes!
🎉Alcohol works for me with sharpie and shoes and I really wouldn't worry about the bottoms.
ok, I will try that.
Goof off, usually work for me! Have fun thrifting!
Ok, I will try it!
I've sold shoes with the price on them. I would still picture and list the Crocs
Alright, I may have to try it.
Goof off or acetone will usually remove Sharpie from shoes. Even if you can't get it off, they will still sell. I love selling Crocs! Thanks for your videos!
Yes, try acetone! I have also heard you can trace over the writing with dry erase marker and it will wipe off. Let us know if you are able to get it off.
Thanks!
Oh, interesting. I will try that.
I use rubbing alcohol on a Q tip to get those sharpie prices off. It almost always works. I saw another UA-cam reseller say she just leaves the price on!
I have only tried to sell one pair with the price still on, and I got a pretty nasty comment about it. I will try the alcohol.
Goo gone is what I use. I hope that helps! Love your honest videos, definitely relatable!
Thanks so much!
spray aerosol sun lotion (I buy cheapest out there) in a bowl and use a q-tip really fast before it evaporates - gets out any ink for me including sharpie
Interesting, I will try it.
Hand sanitizer for the sharpie mark.
I will try it, thanks!
I started may off good. But took a 3 week vacation. lol. Poshmark and eBay closets will reopen tomorrow.
A 3 week vacation is fantastic! Did you go somewhere fun?
@@JenntheReSeller Mexico City
So, may was so up and down for me.... I'm new so not sure what to expect anyway. Ended up with a few surprises on the last day though, so that was nice. On to June!
That's great! I love happy surprises.
Hi jenn.❤
Hello, friend!
I stopped taking the prices off my shoes and they still sell 😊
Ok, good to know!
@@JenntheReSeller I’m a lazy reseller 😂 but you might try spray sunscreen, works in most cases
@@For_sale_by_tee ha! Me too! I may try that.
Today is may 31st lol you had me trippin
All day I thought it was June 1st. It was about 4 in the afternoon before I realized.
Acetone! Especially on crocs it will come right off.
Thanks!
Try rubbing alcohol. I have good luck taking off ink with it. Good luck. Glad your month was good!
Thanks!
I’m not sure what you tried to remove the ink with but I’d suggest hair spray, nail polish remover, or Amodex.
Ok! Thanks!
Please tell me where you got that large packing/shipping tape dispenser. 😮 I need that I’m pretty sure. 😊
Of course. I LOVE it! I could never work a tape gun well. Here is the amazon affiliate link. amzn.to/4aIyMpY
Qtip with rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover will get most sharpie marks off
Thanks! I will try it.
Do we get another update tomorrow for may? Lol! I lose track of days too!
Ha! It's clearly not a strong suit for me.
I have a thrift store that now puts a dot of red nail polish on all DESIGNER tags. Drives me insane
That's awful!!
How many items do you list a day ?
Use fingernail polish remover to take the price off. Be careful to just use a little bit of it☺️
Thanks, I will try that.
Rubbing alcohol on a wet wipe works great!
Thanks!
May 31st
Yep, I was definitely wrong.
How can it be June 1? Watching it on Friday, May 31
Well, because I messed up. I am not so good with the calendar. I thought it was June 1st until about 4 pm yesterday.
I just make the price a solid square of color and still away!
Ah, like with the same color sharpie? Smart.
@@JenntheReSeller yes. so if black, a black square. I show it in photos. I don't price less because of it either.
@@yardsalesteals3003 ok, good to know. Thanks!
Try finger nail polish remover
I did. No luck. :(
I retired from work and am slowly getting started reselling again. I had sold in the past buy never put alot of effort into it. Now I have all the time in the world but I am finding that my sales are slow. I just want to get better at all of this as I am now on a fixed income. Any suggestions?
Yeah, it can be so hard at first. My biggest suggestions are to make sure you are checking comps, and stay consistent. Keep at it and the sales will come. You got this!
How does the delisting and relisting work?
The theory is that it refreshes your inventory and gets fresh eyes on the item, kind of like it tricks ebay into thinking you have listed a new item. I use Vendoo to delist and relist. It's pretty easy to do it that way. I believe you can do that on ebay and poshmark as well.
Yes, yes, yes!
Do you list everyday ?
Kind of, I list 10 items a day, 6 days a week.
Try an alcohol pad
I will try that.
How does your UA-cam channel contribute?
Great question! That was not included at all in my numbers. I just started making some money from UA-cam in April. I did make about $400 in May, I believe. I have not received any of that money yet. I have to figure out how to actually get paid.
@@JenntheReSeller Wow - that's great. I'm very happy for you.
@@aalbertsr Thanks! It's just amazing to me, I am very humbled by it.
😢u have? Average sales per day.’? Your gross sales are awesome.
I'm not sure I understand your question.
lol oh my goodness. Me either. I meant it to say. How many items do you have listed and average number of sales per day?
