I'd add grog to the list. The simple 2oz rum, .5 demerara, .5 lime recipe. Tastes great, and a good base to start see how different rums change drinks.
Recommendation for a simple Mai Thai recipe that I think is also my favorite. 2 ounces Denizen Merchant's Reserve 8-Year Rum 1/2 ounce Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao 1/2 ounce Smuggler's Cove Orgeat (it's a recipe to make your own - you can find online) 1/4 ounce Semi-Rich Demarara Syrup (1.5/1) 3/4 ounce lime juice This is a small adjustment to Martin Cate's Mai Tai - i just change his "Mai Tai Rich Symple Syrup" for a semi-rich (1.5/1) Demerara syrup. Cuts down the sweet a bit and adds bit to the flavor profile.
Probably not a tiki cocktail for beginners but the Mr.Bali hai is for me one of my favourites along side the ancient mariner. Tree dots and a dash could be mentioned also lol But mai tai, zombie and jungle bird are essentials imo
Jungle Bird will always be my go to. Love using Cinnamon Syrup in it to give it a bit of spice. also i've never made a zombie but i was under the impression there was apricot brandy in it? I guess not in the original recipe?
The Jungle Bird is one of my favorites
A most excellent and tasty lineup of cocktails! Cheers 🥂🍹mate!
I build an outdoor Tiki bar on my balcony. Great time for me to start practicing these cocktails for the upcoming summer!
Cant wait to try the zombie been looking for the right recipe to use. Have tried all the others and they are great

Great shout 👌
Great job Steve. The Mai Tai is my favorite. I typically omit the sugar syrup and go heavier on the orgeat.
Jungle bird has been my go to subbing Apeoll instead of Campari.
Aku Aku from the Smugglers Cove book is always a favorite.
This, Aperol is a great substitute.

Good selection, I would have liked to see the Mr. Bali Hai up here too.
Noted 👌
I made a Mai Tai, Pina Colada, Tradewinds and Bahama Mamma.
I love them all.....although I might have considered a good Grog..Navy or Don's Own?
Omg i try the queen park swizzel for the first time with the OFTD and its like the best cocktail i had for a long time!
Good to hear!!

Mr Bali hai is so good
The Ancient Mariner is one of my favorite for sure. Great, great drink.
Hello Steve. I really like 3 easy to make tiki cocktails. Beach bum, Mister, Bali hai and Quarantine Order
Jungle Bird will always be my go to. Love using Cinnamon Syrup in it to give it a bit of spice.

Nope. Many people make the Zombie Fruity simply to offset the alcohol. Even I’ve done it…or Passion Fruit. But nope, that is the Zombie Cocktail.
Put the recipe in the description please
The Jungle Bird is the only Tiki cocktail I like! I am all about classic cocktails and delicious single malt scotch!! Cheers! 🙂
Navy grog
Even though......... nevertheless-👍👌🤝🙏
