I really enjoyed this. I used to use Silver FX pro. It was a good program but is costly as an add on. These tips still produce excellent quality without the costly outlay. The video was easy to watch and follow. Many thanks
This really cleared so many of my doubts and now I am gonna try and edit BNW Portraits. I am surely gonna watch that landscape BNW video of yours. Love and Peace.
I remember seeing this when it came out, but it popped up again, and I wanted to review the techniques. It made me think to ask, is this technique applied to one of the presets in the Visual Flow B+W Mixer bundle? I have that, and it would save me having to go through all this and create my own preset :D
Great video!! Adjusting the strength of local adjustment is a great take from this video for me. I believe it will really help in refining a photograph to a desired result. 👏
Thank you, Pye! Great video. Following along with the downloaded file is helpful. Trying to figure out how to correctly apply range masking to the finishing brush with Lightroom Classic's new masking tools is a little tricky. (I ended up making two luminance range subtractions from the brush, one at the high end and the other at the low.)
Thank you sir for that tutorial, great stuff. In this image, my eye is constantly drawn to her tattoo, I wish his hand covered it. It's a bit distracting. Other than that; it's a beautiful image.
Thanks for watching! Comment below what you'd like to learn next!
Im not able to open the file. Google link opens an empty file.

Thanks for the great video, Pye. How would you change this process for subjects with darker skin, such as African Americans?
What about when I export the photo and the black and white photos look like a different color?? This is driving me nuts
Thank you sir for that tutorial, great stuff.

I'm guessing the B&W presets in the VFLO packs are pretty similar to this? Pretty please? ,☺️
They’re even better ;) but yes this was modeled off one of them
@@payamjirsa cool, but which one?? Classic, Bold? Something else?
