  • Today I am at Marks house to remove concrete, level the yard, install landscape fabric, landscape edging, bring in 16 tons of 1.5” river rock, and plant grass seed on his entire yard. Everything turned out great and the customer was very happy.
    Tools used for this project:
    John Deere 1025r
    King Kutter XB tiller
    Frontier AV20F grapple
    Titan Pallet forks
    PJ 16ft low pro dump trailer

    This video is packed full of awesome. That grapple is something else. My 1025r is new this year and my first tractor, and I was close to buying a grapple. I've mostly seen vids of brush pick-up but those under sell the power and capability quite a bit I now see. I'll be calling the dealer tomorrow I think. Hopefully they have one in stock

      Thanks for the comment! These grapples are definitely worth it. They can do so much. It’s by far my favorite attachment. Happy tractoring!

    Dash, check the pinch bolt on the grapple ram. the guy at Simpsons tractor works, had the bolt come loose and pulled out wrecked the threads. check it out very end of his video. By the way great landscaping job.

    Hey Dash. Good insight to what you've been up to. As you've proven, it's not all tractor work, there is still plenty of physical work too. Thanks for sharing and it's good to see you.

      Hey Bob! That’s right, it’s not all tractor work. Sometimes you come home tired and sore. It takes a little sweat to get it done. But it sure is fun and satisfying to see what you’ve accomplished. Great to hear from you and thanks for your support!

    Great video! Home Depot rents concrete saws that would’ve saved you a lot of trouble with that slab

      Thanks, David! One of those concrete saws would have been great. Thanks for mentioning that idea!

    Great video and you have a great work ethic!!!! But doing work for hire you really needs the rops in place. It saves in the long run if you have insurance claims from unforseen mishaps not to mention loss of limb or life. Keep the videos coming and stay safe.

    I'm planning on buying a 1025r with the front loader, belly mower, and the backhoe to run a side business. I know I'll enjoy doing the tractor work like yourself. Do you think it would have potential to evolve into more than a side business for you?

    • @TheLittleGreenTractor
      @TheLittleGreenTractor  2 роки тому

      Hi Brandon, thanks for asking! And I hope you have lots of fun when you get your 1025r! You’ll love it. As for the side business, I think I could definitely grow it. Right now I’m keeping it small because it fits my lifestyle but I could certainly expand if I wanted. Demand has grown each year.

    Good Stuff Dash! Have you looked into doing stump grinding with your tractor? Something I'm looking into in my area. Seems pretty underserved and you can get good prices on it. Thanks Man!

    • @TheLittleGreenTractor
      @TheLittleGreenTractor  2 роки тому +1

      Hey thanks man! Stump grinding is one thing I haven’t offered yet. I’ve had a few people ask me if I could do it. I just haven’t bought a grinder yet. I may add it to my arsenal in the future though!
