My neighbours are Muslim, and i grew up with them, and when i was about 6, they told me about jinns for the first time. They told me, if we stay out too late the jinns will be in the trees, and we have to go inside otherwise they’d get us. The worst thing was that there’s a tree right outside our garden, and there’s hundreds of branches, and their mum told us “there will be a jinn for every branch on that tree so you better come inside!” And so i ran inside her house and she gave us all roti (the flat one pretty sure it’s chapati? sorry if I’m wrong it’s been a while since I’ve really talked to them) lol jinns still terrify me to this day
I had Muslim neighbours too, I became good friends with the kids and we would stay over at each other’s houses all the time, even when they moved we stayed good friends, (but that’s besides the point) one of the kids, told me that we couldn’t go outside past like 5/6pm bc there are bad spirits, and ofc she told me that after she moved. (At her old house her toilet was separated from the house, literally in the back yard) so ya that scared me for YEARS

This gave me chills because I actually had a friend that told me she was possessed and there were jinns in her room if I could stay over because she was scared, when she went to work the next day I was uncomfortable in the house so I saw she had a Quran on the stand I washed my hands went over to the Quran I’m not Muslim if it were the bible I would open psalm 91, since it’s a Quran I wanted to leave it open on the verse of the throne, when I went over to open it I noticed it was dirty and I thought maybe it’s old it looked like coffee spilled on it, open the pages and realise it’s back the front and upside down (like an English book) I thought maybe she put it like that by mistake so I turned it the right way around and opened it to the verse said a prayer I left the room to tell my sister who is Muslim that the Quran was dirty and upside down because I knew she wouldn’t believe me I took a photo of the verse I opened and how dirty the pages were to show her, I walk back in the room and 😳 the Quran was closed, I was the only one in the house even on the chance of their being a draft such a heavy book wouldn’t close like that on it’s own I took a picture because I knew nobody would believe me I opened it again because I thought I was going crazy, came back it was closed again I honestly f that I started packing my things because I wasn’t staying another minute in that house but for the life of me I couldn’t leave I was being delayed by my phone service booking a taxi, I couldn’t find my things the Energy made me feel like I was stuck there I don’t know how I managed to fight that energy but I thought if I don’t leave she’s going to come back and convince me to stay so I just grabbed what I could and walked out I booked my taxi while I was outside the building, I forgot all about that until you just mentioned it 😰😰😰
I'm really suprised that your parents didn't believe you especially since they are Muslim and they know jinns exist. There is a whole surah (surah Al- Jinn) in the Quran which mentions them.

I have experienced sleep paralysis (you are sleeping but your mind is awake and you can hear anything) before and do not worry! It is super normal. Just make lots of dua before you sleep. It was a terrifying experience for me because it causes rapid eye movement, one will feel something sitting on around our neck or upper body and i may not able to speak or shout for help. You are not alone !

I went too my aunt house in Pakistan and I saw a back figure it was tall and in a shape of a man with a hat.. It was so scary. I lived in a haunted house in Luton Bedfordshire in UK and I was praying and something was banging on my door and I heard chains and I found out the house I was living in was a jail many many years ago and alot of prisoners died. My cat was meowing so loud and hissing too and was looking at something. I believe they are jinn and people who don't know they are dead that's why they haunted a house or objects etc.. Girl this one time i was just chilling in my room and i was on my phone. My family was downstairs and i was sitting on my bed, so like out of the blue i heard this noice just outside my room behind my door. My Experience...one day the lights went out kids were downstairs at grandparents flat. I was lighting the gas in d kitchen so there was a light plastic lid..no wind...jst me all dark..I simply threw it on the utensils rack section & right away it was thrown back at me🥶. Having witnessed there presence other times...I just gathered up my guts & picked it up n laughed and said u dnt scare me....its my hse. Once upon a time I was finding my mom, my house was small and it had 2 rooms and I checked the whole house I didn't found my mom so I was like going near the bathroom and then I SAW MY MOM'S BURNT FACE it scared me sooo much i screamed and my mom came out from on of the rooms and as I told that I checked the whole house I didn't find her then how did she came out from the room? From that day I started to stay a little bit be away from bathroom and my room was near the bathroom so I didn't go there I used to sleep with my mom. The second thing happened with me was I was 6-7 years old and I was playing with my brother under the fan and my little sister she was sleeping on the bed an dmy mom was offering prayer I don't remember properly what she was doing and when I was playing THE FAN IT ALMOST FELL BUT IT WAS HANGING UP THERE WITH ONLY WIRES my brother grabbed my little sister very fast and we ran out of the room but the fan didn't fell? Like we were saved ALLAHAMDULILLAH. And on thing pls don't forget to recite Ayatul Kursi before sleeping and make ur kids recite too.

Whenever u enter a house or room say salaams. Whenever u undress or close any door or window say the magic word BISMILLAH.only that and no giant join can open the door or window...and if u dress saying it ur invincible to them.
First before saying say audhubillahi mina shayraninrajim so that if a shaitan is in it runs out. Then u say Bismillah and shut the door they will not enter.
And NEVER LEAVE THE BATHROM DOORS OPEN. And never enter without its dua.
This way u will always be first hand safe.

My Experience...one day the lights went out kids were downstairs at grandparents flat. I was lighting the gas in d kitchen so there was a light plastic lid..no wind...jst me all dark..I simply threw it on the utensils rack section & right away it was thrown back at me🥶. Having witnessed there presence other times...I just gathered up my guts & picked it up n laughed and said u dnt scare me....its my hse. I finished making my tea,I lit a candle n went to sit in the sitting room.

This isnt anything unusual about this expierence you had. Life span of Jinns are for many hundreds of years we have one in our home. Your unlikely the 1st woman they saw practicing Islamic practices and their disturbances is likely due to you being in their way and it's the ' kid's who usually mess about with humans ...They do care about walls as we built one and caused issues with the jinn so knocked it down and barely disturbs us once in a few years. The jinn feed on bones and the smell of food regardless of their religion. To avoid attracting jinns women still need to observe hijab when getting dressed by closing the curtains .
