I bought her in Light Bernstein Rooted and she is the first wig I actually wore to work - yesterday. Everyone loved her, but not as much as I did. Great question, Maria! For me personally, no. I have seen some wigs that are absolutely noticeably overly "stripy". I guess it's really boils down to personal preference as to one finds it acceptable or not. For me personally, this one doesn't need rooting. But again, it's personal preference. I'm a natural brunette and as I've aged my hair has gotten darker so when I wear a light color wig I feel a little off when I wear light brown (like Raquel Welch's Honey Toast) or lighter without rooting. If the wig has enough brunette and dimension I really don't feel I need it. I really like Ellen Wille's Tobacco shades. Thank you for your question!
