We just closed the pool and did the same thing again. This has worked for us for three closings now and it just works.

Great idea 💡. My brother in Sheboygan does the same thing kinda for his pool too. Duct taping around helps too. Smart man you are. Jimmy

Glad to hear that it is working. I do something similar with car covers. I run the cable and the lock under the car and then use a smaller clamp of that style to clamp the cover to the bumpers.

Thank god for those clamps. I can say this was the easiest year with the pool cover for sure.
