    Wow Sam 👏 what an amazing job you and your Dad (brother & cousin) did on this shed. 🤩 This is a huge build, so intimidating, your such an inspiration. I really want to build myself a workshop and this is a great series to follow. I'm a total amateur builder but I have a miter saw and now a plan. Thank you for sharing!

    Looks amazing!!! Great job. I have a shed that I purchased but it's filled with junk at the moment. Every time I want to do any woodwork I have to drag all my equipment out then put it back up when I'm done for the day. Maybe one of these days I'll be like you. Again, great job and I really enjoyed your series. You are so talented.

    Looks absolutely Brilliant and all the Ryobi gear hanging on the wall, i have Ryobi tools as well and i really need to get myself sorted. All my tools are in boxes and only come out when needed, all this has given me a massive boost to get sorted myself.

    Great Video Series for building the Shed. I do have a couple of questions to ask. I'll be starting my shed in a few weeks so wanted to make sure. Thanks in advance
    1. How did you run your electricity??
    Did you have to run it from somewhere else??
    2. I know you have Windows, but did you add gable vents???

    • @diyhuntress
      @diyhuntress  5 років тому +2

      Thank you so much! I’m so happy you enjoyed it!
      I hired a licensed electrician to run power to the shed from the house. I wasn’t touching that with a 10 foot pole...
      I don’t have vents in the shed (for now). By the time we finished the build it was getting cold, so I left it alone and used a space heater. I may put a small AC unit in there this summer, so not sure if I’m adding vents yet. Will post an update when I get there!

  • @MDC2020
    @MDC2020 5 років тому

    Great video but that stuff from Plank and Mill is ridiculously expensive, Over $600 for 50 sq ft. It's hard to justify peel and stick for that cost when you can by 1"x6"x6' pickets from Home Depot for $1.48 each. and spend $40.00 for some Odies oil and get as good of results.

    • @diyhuntress
      @diyhuntress  5 років тому

      I totally agree that it’s definitely a pricier product than pickets, but there are benefits to it. It’s much thinner and lighter than 1x6 and is a great option for people who don’t have many power tools, since they can be cut with a razor blade and stick without nails. I do know they do coupon codes a lot as well, so that helps. In any event, thanks for the pricing comparison! I think it’s helpful for people to have options. 😊
