After watching it I came here to give my review in case anyone cares .
The movies has a lot of cliche parts that are extremely predictable and don't seem natural , but it's not that bad . I had fun watching and I don't feel like I lost any time . I find it very motivational and somehow it makes you see life from a different perspective . The characters were quite nice , especially Laura Marano . Cami Mendes's character was not deep at all .. they made her the best hateable character . They did not show any good part in her at all .. she had nothing nice to say , just your typical mean villain . As for the comments saying it was predictable , it was in certain parts ,but that's how rom coms are . Of course he is going to end up with the goofy girl , that's how every teen rom com ends and I have watched quite many . This is a movie directed mostly to teenagers ( like me ) .. it's not supposed to be a life changing movie , it's just a cute Netflix movie with some of the most loved actors at the moment .
I would give it a rating of 8/10 . I enjoyed it , it was fun and it made me forget about my worries . I recommend watching it if you feel like you need a little bit of motivation .

Netflix is like the 80s, casting the same group of teens in various roles, playing the same character everytime.
I love all the 80s teen flicks, even with their recycled casting (Molly Ringwald, the Cusacks, etc.). Noah Centineo is definitely the leader of this generations "Brat Pack" though.

This movie was actually pretty much very, very good. Loving it !! Loving the chemistry and dialogues between the main characters. Brilliant. I also laughed many times, which is very rare for me. I picked it up randomly in 2 seconds. LOVE this kind of Netflix moments ❤️

Don't get me wrong, I love Noah since the Fosters but for me it's too much Noah in that kind of Movie genre lately. I would like to see him in other genres too. It gets boring and to much to see him always like that. The Rom-Com guy, always another Rom-Com Character, it's like he's playing the same type of Character just with another Name and Plot. Besides i would like to see other actors get a chance too, more diversity. The Female Main Characters also aren't always the same in every Rom-Com Movie =) so it should be the same with the Male Main Character.

I actually liked the movie alot. It's a bit cliche and has typical rom com tropes but it's not a bad movie. It's a lot more well thought out than other rom com movies and you can tell the editors and producers spent a lot more time trying to build the relationship between both characters vs other movies. They actually have pretty decent conversations and fun interactions together. it's a good coming to age movie about a teenager who doesn't know exactly who he is and going on all these "dates" pretending to be different people was a good and funny way of portraying his "identity" crisis. Some of the sub characters could have been more thought out with more depth and the main characters lacked romantic chemistry but had great platonic chemistry. Netflix could have started a new trend and pushed out the message of a platonic relationship between a boy and girl. I think it would have taken the movie to a whole other level. Love Noah Centineo and so happy he is growing as an actor!
Glad to see they went with the standard post 2010’s trailer style; show the entire film in chronological order in two minutes or less.
