Well from a musical standpoint there is definitely some similarity between nujabes, flylo and ta-ku. The broken beat is syncopated in at least of a few of each producers songs, such as this one. The verby highs is a common element across a lot of trip hop and glitch, ie a lot of the songs made by these producers. Jazz chord progressions can be found in all of these producers songs. I mean, they might not be amazingly similar, but one could safely put all of those artist together in a genre imo.

It is an obvious fact in life that people are allowed to interpret things however they like. Doesn't mean they are right. Identifying a bird as a bird is correct.
