All I can imagine is the lil hamster thinking "No, no, no. This is all wrong! This needs to go there, more filler here, less there. Goodness, this is going to take me all day to put right" love it 😁
Actually, in my experience, rodents in general have one reaction to everything: "DESTROY!" They're genuine chaos spirits who chew things up and move them around for reasons I'm certain even they can't explain. It's fun to watch, though.
This is definitely the luckiest hamster in the world. I mean, luckier than his other brothers and sisters being handed and dropped by little children, afterwards being shoved back into a tiny cramped little cage... In other words, you truly blessed this little hammy with a great life 💕
@Buddi chucky Yeah I completely understand where you're coming from, and I agree. I shouldn't have been so harsh. But I personally think hamster's shouldn't be owned by anyone under 10, unless the parents are teaching them how to properly handle and take care of any delicate and small animal. Also typical "hamster" cages are way too small for them.
@@Ciara991x My daughter is 8 and she has hamsters. I taught her how to care for them and I help her clean up the cages and with their care. She is very respectful of the hamsters. I do agree that most kids under 10 wouldn't be mature enough. Some of her classmates could not handle it
andysupz most children are bad owners they can’t research or know the proper care for a hamster. There are many misconceptions that hamsters are “easy pets” that need little to no care. The majority of hamster owners are children
After seeing your video of building all that without the hamster exploring it at the end I felt a pain in my chest, a pain that would have never gone away, I've searched for the video immediately after that and I've found it I'm happy about that,we all are happy!
I dont own an hamster, but got an idea.. if the more realistic = a more happy hamster , in a cage like that , when comes the feeding times , i would kind of randomly spread the food around the cage..So he can wander around , collecting food and thus giving him a sense of accomplishment or make it feels like he is doing something actively , like he would do in nature..Searching food or finding it randomly and collecting it..Like in a natural habitat..He has that instinct in him..Its natural for him to do that , so why not use that as an activity for him? If i try to think within the frame of ''hamster'' or just rodents in general , ,' i think that searching , finding , collecting /re-hiding foods and letting him use and active his natural instinct could be a nice and easy way to make him happy.. spread the food around the cage intead of everything in a single spot..and you could even hide some in tunnels or under the soil....So everyday he wakes up and he search his food and collect his goodies around the cage..or randomly step upon foods while exploring and then forget what he was doing just to put the food in his stack..i think that it would activate his senses, abilities and instinct ... and then just by doing that , everyday is gonna be different for him , and he will always have something to do actively , other than useing the wheel or digging...I think that could help makes a hamster healthy and happy...What do you guys think?
I think natural themed cages are amazing because you can see hamster express their wild behaviours and they much more happier in themed cages like these and this video clearly proves it . Nitrogen’s adorable ❤️
I actually love this! That's one happy hamster and they'll never get bored of their home and will always have something to do. Well done. Best hamster parent award goes to you. So cute seeing it dig in the mug having the time of it's life.

this makes me so happy. even though I know the little baby's in heaven, he had such an amazing life. you can see the happiness in his little eyes as he digs and tunnels through the soil. you gave him the best you could, he could have just been thrown in a critter trail with some terrible pet shop food and unsafe bedding, nothing to do and when he does get out of the cage some child will roughly throw him around and squeeze him. but instead he got to live the perfect life with you!

Baron Nashor I throw treats or hide them for my dogs to keep them “hunting” during the day. They love it.
I think you could of said that in a few sentences..lolol..but I love how excited you are about it!!
Great idea!
You'd have to make sure to collect uneaten food so it didn't mold or start growing.
Baron Nashor maybe try a few dry treats first, see how well they do. then u can try a few nutritional foods just coz mold sucks.
