Causes can be boredom , abuse or to small living space .
And ....adult hamsters should not be forced to live together , it's not their nature !

I felt angey when i saw hamsters are obliged to swimming in water! If the hamster swimming in water or touch water,it will fall ill even die! because the ancestor of hamster could hardly touch water.
Facts about hamsters: YOU DONT NEED TO BATH THEM! Because they actually clean themselves and if you do bath them it can lead to dry fur coats and skin problems. So instead of water baths you can spot clean them with a damp cloth of give them sand baths. (I had a hamster before that’s how I know😢)

My misty passed by a broken neck in one of those metal wheels in the 1990s. I never gave them that metal wheel ever again and warned everyone. It was devastating finding her like that after I came home from school.😢

I miss her so much she was so healthy apart from the cancer she got at the beginning of this awful GOD awful year omg all the things that happened where AWFUL. As SOOON as January started a little spot was on her and guess what it was cancer tho I didn’t notice until later. It doesn’t matter she isn’t a human there isn’t a cure for her well was because she’s dead 😔

I happen to enjoy these videos for the simple fact that I am a hamster mom. I am on my third hamster currently. My first two were girls my third one is a boy. My first two unfortunately have had to be euthanized. My first hamster her name was ivy Angel Rose she was a great dwarf hamster. I noticed she had a mass in her pelvic region that was a size of a grape so I had to contact an exotic veterinarian to have her examined. They did a biopsy a needle biopsy on the mass she had and it came back positive for cancer. So she also had a mass on her ear that she had scratch that and opened up. And they diagnosed at his ear cancer as well. So baby girl had a
Double whammy. So I had her euthanized I have her ashes and I have her how many footprints. My second hamster was another dwarf hamster she was kind of blondish but she had red eyes I referred to her as the demon. Her name was Vanilla Bean Aurora Rose. The reason I had to have her euthanized is because she ended up with a spinal injury that severed her spinal column and she couldn't walk anymore. And I didn't want her to be in any more pain than she was so I had them euthanize her. The reason I refer to her as the demon was because I could not hold her. She was a chronic biter and if I even put my hand in her cage to do anything she went after my hand every time. My current hamster which is a little boy hammy his name is Tobias Bean Angel Macy Toby for short or the potato. He is a turbo dwarf hamster. And so far I haven't been bitten by him but I also haven't been able to hold him yet. But I do get to pay him when his mouth is full of food. Because then he won't get me if his face is in his food bowl lol.

This video is not funny. A lot of animals in this video are downright abused and exhibit very unnatural behavior due to their living conditions. Hamster owners are notorious for housing their pets in cages that are way too small, have not enough bedding in them (hamsters are burrowing creatures; they NEED a thick layer of bedding to burrow and live in), don't have enough space to display natural behavior, don't have sand at their disposal (to wash themselves), etc. The hamsters that a lot of people think are 'funny' are actually hamsters with very disturbed behavior as a cause of boredom, which can lead to irreperable brain damage, as is clearly displayed by the hamsters that run around in circles or fall backwards continuously. There's also the fact that a lot of dwarf hamsters in this video are practically obese, which shortens their already short lifespan with MONTHS and gives them a high risk of developing diabetes (yes, animals can get diabetes, just like us human animals). And DO NOT EVER BATHE A HAMSTER IN WATER!
Shame on you and shame on people who are laughing at videos like this (same goes for people who think fat cats and fat dogs are funny).
Don’t worry bro me very young. Am the best owner of hamster I have big cage lots of bedding take good care of my hamsters just like there my child. I’ve only ever had one death that wasn’t old age it was cancer also the one who died of cancer lived past the 2 year mark. She was a fighter and me being a good owner gave her extended lifetime. I wish she didn’t die to cancer 😔
