@@Simonisms your right about that because just like hover boards if the Gyro goes off your face planting, I would rather be on an electric skateboard. Computers and logic circuits are only as smart as the person who programmed them. Which means there is going to be errors because to err is human. The more complicated you make the sensors and more data that need to be processed the more of a chance of failure. IF one SMD goes out at 40 MPH your done. I have already test ridden many of those types of personal transportation devices. I build them also. That is unstable you can tell by the speed wobbles.

Honestly though, it goes fast XD Since this original post I did have a speed demon day over memorial weekend and I got it to beep at me to slow down. XD Yeah even the high torque is fast.

i am somewhat new on euc .. but i tried a few wheels . started on a 310wh mcm5 ( friends ) then i bought my first wheel a nickola 100v plus and drove like 300km. then sold it and bought a Veteran Abrams. i tried a v11, mten 4, shermax and an rs19 hs .. the rs is a friends wheel and at first i didnt like it. but after i drove 300km on the abrams and tried the rs again, wow its awsome and nimble and fast. would love to get one as a second wheel. its a great wheel. but i needed to try a heavier wheel first to really enjoy it and find out how awsome it is. just saw your video today and wanted to let people know they should try this wheel good wind out there mate :)

Yep i bought an mtb ebike, big mistake. Heavy, pita to do maintenance, yanked out motor and battery back to normal. Bought an euc, holy smokes! like a kid having the time of my life carving all over the place.
My RS suffered from a grinding sound from the motor after some drops from curbs. At first I thought it was the bearings until I took it apart. The motor had gotten out of center and allowed for the magnets and stators to rub. I just took off both covers and centered as best as I could and it fixed the grinding sound. It's been a month and a lot of curbs since then without any problems. Tdlr: RS bearing issue may be due out of alignment motor
The speed overheating is a big thing, especially off-road. The torque stays cool all the time. Also bearings is way more than 3-5% more like 30-50% my 2nd set of bearings is already acting up.
@@filmingkey unless they explictly say what bearings they're putting in, I'd guess theyre gonna use the same stuff. They're paying bottom dollar for trash bearings with a 50% failure rate, its still way cheaper than good bearings. Sending out replacements costs them almost nothing. At the end of the day it keeps their cost low, which is the #1 thing that motivates consumers, and when you consider the fact that everything they produce is sold out and backordered all the time, they have no motivation to do better outside of personal passion/pride.
So true. A relative of mine was taken to hospital recently in an emergency. I had to get to the hospital quickly. It would have taken me an hour to drive. I rode my electric unicycle and was there in 20 minutes. 😊
I prefer an msp over the RS hollow motor version....and the after market pedals are way way overpriced....P.S. Never buy from Aliexpress, they lie and rip you off...be warned.
RS doesn't really bring anything new. Old design, handle hopeless, no waterproof, problems with bearings - a disaster, definitely worse than the old msp, but it has RGB lights ... sorry, but the movie is worthless in my opinion
