  • We sat down with Tracy Brown who signed up for the OYNB 365 Day Alcohol-Free challenge and recently completed 9 months AF (alcohol-free).
Since she started the challenge, Tracy has lost a stone and a half in weight, found a new love for walking and cycling and most importantly, she now has a great relationship with her children. But things were not always like this for Tracy.
We often don’t realise the effect alcohol has on the ones we love the most and in Tracy's case it was her children. A drink fuelled night would make her irritable and grumpy with her girls in the morning, something she never wants to go back to again.
In Tracy’s own words “You only get one life... don’t live it under a black cloud of drinking, hangovers and anxiety”.

Very moving story. So glad there was a much more positive outcome to this. Alcohol can be very insidious.

WOW. I am floored by you honesty. It is so inspiring to see the changes in you (and I don’t know you! But you can see from the pictures). I would love to hear more about your storey - maybe about how you’ve overcome some of the pitfalls day to day. Bless you and your beautiful girls. Well done!

No need for the sad background music. I've had friends die and commit suicide to drink and cocaine and thats a bad place to be. Fair play to this lass but a little less of the dramatics.
