Nice band. Disciples of evil and darkness ferocious.
Absolutely...really been enjoying this one lately! The intro actually inspired me to pull out Nightbreed to rewatch.
I really enjoy hearing these old Michigan bands! I was born in the mid-80s and got into the death/black metal scene in the late 90s, so just a little too young to catch these bands when they were around, with the exception of Enrapture and Malicious Hate since they were from Muskegon
I am in the same boat. Got into the scene in the mid-90's so missed out on the tape trading day. It's been fun trying to go back in time and discover all these obscure bands from Michigan, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Tons of talent who never made it past the demo stage or playing locally for one reason of another. I will definitely be checking out some Malicious Hate and Enrapture!
This is killer! 🤘🏻
They have a real evil vibe which I love.
@@MidwestMetalArchive for sure! 🤘🏻
Wicked channel mate! 😈
Thanks, I appreciate it!!
amazing vocal!!!!
Nasty stuff...just how I like it!
Not many bands have members with such different names as "Mike Gay and Darkness." But seriously, this is motherf*cking great. Solos are top notch.
This one rips for sure!
hell sick
Nasty stuff!
The 90s death metal demo sound is great, I miss that sound
Totally agree...pure magic before everything became digital and processed.
Anyone remember Aces Records in Tampa Florida? Their local demo section was so badass!
That sounds like an awesome record store!
Classick !!!!! For all thoem “grunge 💩fans” that say thers was no death, black metal or was dying in the 90s, thiz ones for yo teeeth!!!!!!🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🔥🔥🔥
LOL...I was thinking the same thing! They just weren't looking hard enough.
hmmm.... pretty sure 1994-1995 was about peak years for death metal. Even Pantera started using death metal vocals on Far Beyond Driven 1994. Pretty sure the first like 10 Cannibal Corpse albums came out in the 1990s. Maybe I'm too young to understand as I was 7 in 1994. Didn't know anyone thought that.
I have definitely heard the opinion that thrash died for a while in the 90's. Remember when Testament gave the death metal vocals a try on Demonic? A lot of the legacy thrash bands attempted the groove metal formula made famous by Pantera or tried to create the next Black album. You're right, death metal was alive and well during that time period.
