Love the first sequence. Reminds me of going on holiday to Cornwall on the Cornish Riviera Express, watching spray flying over the train on a rough day as we passed through Dawlish. Thanks.
generally they're not pushed by diesels, the diesels are normally just there to provide power for the railcars. yes steamers have dynamos. no i do not know why they don't use them.

Just seen this, 6 1/2 years late. Great shots and the multiple camera editing has worked very well.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Magnificent !
Brilliant, was there when this was being videotaped....
Superb video clips of 'Tornado'.

What a magnificent locomotive.
Man's most civilized form of land transport.
NOW THATS A STEAM TRAIN ! We have a few in America but most are being pushed around by a modern locomotive few run this fast .

It has taken 9 years for this clip to reach the South Island of New Zealand!😂 Very well done, liked the low platform shot with the up train passing!
Is it me or has the sound of her whistle changed?
Wasn’t Dawlish a death eater?
Nice clip
I like old vintage trains and vehicles.they have limited speed. idon't like toomuch speed.from India.
The tornado locomotive is a newly built engine, she first steamed (according to Wikipedia) 2008, so 13/14 years old now,
That particular locomotive can run at 100 mph.
