thank you for this! While watching stephen kings "the stand" back in the 90's, one of his characters, Mother Abigail, was always singing bits and pieces of these wonderful hymns... and this part "... and He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own" was one of the parts she was singing but I always thought it belonged to "what a friend we have in Jesus" (because she was singing that right before) but I could never find that line in that song.... and now I know why. :)
