Some video footage of a few Japanese World War II shipwrecks from a February 2012 trip to Chuuk (Truk), Micronesia. These vessels were sunk during Operation Hailstone.

Great video. A testament to the Can of Whoop Ass my grandfather and his Navy buddies opened up on the Nips in those few days of Infamy!! Never Forget the sunken dead of of those from both sides who Rest at the Bottom of the sea as well! R.I.P.
Great video guys! This was a huge win and payback for the sneak attack on Pearl. It’s a shame it cost so many lives, but that was the cost to be paid. This place shows so much beauty and life now, thank you for posting!
Excellent video. Take it from one who has been there (Truk Lagoon) and done that. I so wish I could go back and do it all over again.
Awesome video. Hoping to get out to truk in 2021
Nice vid dived Truk about 2 weeks ago and had a great time too
Popular place. Shipwrecks literally laying on top of others sunken during WW1.
On my bucket list for sure.
Great video. thanks for sharing
Loved your video, Michael. I especially like that you balanced the ships with the rich marine life. Too often wreck divers are more interested in artifacts. Kimiuo Aisek's biography will be released in November 2013. Kinisou Chapur!
It good but would like to see more of sunken Naval ships from both US n Japan, Destryers, battleships, cruisers etc.
Wonderful video. I was wondering what was the average depth of the waters you were diving in ?
Please leave the text on the screen longer.
Ships that went through so much death and things meant to kill now hold much life
I met the guys in truck who found the lost submarine there. This was maybe 73 ?
Oh my G its hurts me whats happen to my island in chuuk Dublon..
Awesome video!
nice video. Pwal killisou chapur for uploading this short beautiful video.
Excellent!
The bottles on the table freak me out
No i don't think that's the Starship Enterprise Michel but really enjoyed the video thanks
Is this not considered as war graves?
Yes it is or was in 1980 when I dove it.
Has anyone watching this dove Isle Royale yet?
Great videos Michael. wish you had included the tool room. there was always too much silt in all my videos in there. check out my latest dive with whale sharks - ua-cam.com/video/6_9KA_k2oQg/v-deo.html
How can Japanese use ships if they are underwater? Defeats the whole purpose, no fun.
