- Alain Delon has passed away. The French star with devilishly handsome looks and piercing blue eyes starred in many classic films from the 1960s - 1980s. Here's a tribute from one of my favorite films he starred in "L'Eclisse' 1962 directed by Michelangelo Antonioni where he plays a frantic stock broker and playboy that romances Monica Vitti's character. His portrayal as Tom Ripley in 'Purple Noon'' 1961 directed by René Clément was chilling. Here's a list of other favorite films he starred in that are definitely worth watching.
'Rocco and his Brothers' 1960 directed by Luchino Visconti
'Le Samouraï' 1967 directed by Jean-Pierre Melville
'The Leopard' 1963 directed by Luchino Visconti
'La Piscine' 1969 directed by Jacques Deray
'Indian Summer' 1972 directed by Valerio Zurlini
🔊🎵 music "All We Ever Wanted Was Everything" by Bauhaus
