With the release of drag my soul away , I'm enjoying this period of dead or alive all over again . Quite unique was our Pete . Love the 'doors' vibe going on in this. Takes me back to a place I found happiness when I hung out with like minded souls who played this wall of sound . There will never be another Pete and I'm happy I was growing up following him . A huge inspiration for me . A flash of light in a very grey world .
Absolutely some of the strongest vocals in rock history, this is the best live footage I've seen of early Dead or Alive, I've been a huge fan ever since hearing them at Danceteria in NYC in 1984, Pete Burns will be sadly missed, thanks so much for uploading this great video

I've never seen something like this where all the musicians are facing away and you can't see their faces. It looks so cool and a little spooky for some reason. I love it.

Actually Burns himself wanted to create a disco track with the sound of Divine and Hazel Dean so Stock, Aitken and Waterman didn't ruin them at all, it was Burns' choice to create that sound. The original of Spin me that D or A did isn't that dissimilar to the finished product...Still, Flowers is brilliant and shows great vocal and instrumental talent.
