You could argue it's Elliott that's instigated that contact, but that's debatable because he hasn't changed the direction he's running in nor moved his leg abnormally into the player. Once the onfield decision is penalty, I don't think VAR can say the ref's made a clear & obvious error. It was absolute stupidity for WB to go to ground there anyway rather than staying on his feet, so the blame should go on him.

Wan Bissaka is a defender, he can be in any type of position he wants in the box, so the argument of his thigh shouldn't be there is ridiculous. Defenders block shots while standing, sliding or jumping in, same with tackles, he has every right to be there.
