Many in the squad played poorly with Kane so poor he should have been a late sub at most...the outstanding players were Cole Palmer and the very late subs into games being lost...it suggests Southgate was coaching them to fail and no wonder he is sensitive enough to winge and resign....Cole Palmer, who would not pass backwards, was the best player but obviously offended Southgate....England under Southgate has been the best team in the world at passing back to their keeper

Foden was class unfortunately he can’t beat them by him self. Kane was no where near his best and should not have started, a good substitute, last 20 would have been better, feel for Bellingham and Foden who ran for Kane.

Don’t agree that Foden was class, he had one good half in the whole tournament, however, I do agree with it being the managers fault, he took us to the tournament with the best squad and made us terrible to watch, lucky to scrape thru

As a liverpool supporter who is not a fan of foden, i did say, to the surprise of all my family who know how biased i am, that foden was the best english player at the tournament. He was misused by southgate in a position that's unlikely to showcase his exceptional talent and he was still the best player on the pitch and still put in double the mileage and effort that kane put in. Well done foden. Now please be rubbish whenever you face liverpool 😂

When Foden picks up the ball for city.... how many players does he have in forward positions ahead of him... how many wide players... now transpose that to England... he normally has one maybe two options forward....Bellingham and Foden occupy the same space ... If Gareth wants to play his system then Dont play Foden.. it makes no sense.... Foden free kicks.... Foden corners all rubbish... Trippier rubbish... Palmer and Shaws were so much better with spot kicks...No its not the players.... it was the Manager... Im so pleased he has gone... the football was a bore... we were never going to win anything and frankly if we had playing that style of football with those players it would be embarrassing ... rather lose in the semis playing advanced attacking style all tournament than reach a final playing such limp unattractive football
