This car is friggin awesome ! Paint work looks great and loving those stones ...
It’s almost the same color as the 66 Belvedere 111 I had when I was 15. It’s the only one I ever seen with a 273 4bbl. 4 spd. I loved that little car! My dad totaled it before I got my license. Some things just ain’t meant to be.
Well that sucks
Looks great glad to see you posted something been awhile hope all is well

Looking Badass , love the color and the wheels !
😮that is looking good.I wish I had bought the seventy one super b
Yep we miss that car
I love it! My first car (in 1973) was a ‘67 Coronet 2 door hardtop; still have some trim - want a tail panel?
Awesome!! I hope you are doing old school hand lettering. Glad to see content from you. I love the keystones
Yes yes yes! I will have it lettered at the end. Her name is going to be Voodoo child
@@PoorBoysGarageUSMC great name.
Great job man! Love this channel!
👍😎
Paint is easy. Take your time. Correct distance , overlap. Relax and spray. I’ve been doing it since 1979. Still love doing it. I’m watching this build closely. My 67 gtx is done this way. You spoke to Ashley C lately? Is he ever going to finish his dart😂 please don’t do flat black engine bay. It’s not a gm or ford 😂😂 please
@@Ronnie_Kirkpatrick he is selling that dart he told me 13500.
@@PoorBoysGarageUSMC he’s had that old car for ever. I wish he could remember who he sold my old cuda to.
I was wondering why you didn't paint the front clip & engine compartment but then you explained why you didn't... Regardless, it looks great for a first try paint job. She's gonna be a head turner when she's done!!!
sand then sand then sand some more..... looks good though
Me urge verlo terminado! Yo tengo un coronet 440 motor 318 y jala tremendus!
You paint it because you want it to look good it'll be worth more if the paints nice. Even if you dud jt outside in a dust storm, I'd rather see it painted instead of patina
TOO bad you didnt make a rear body lip on the quarters. ive seen it both ways . looks good though
Looks fuggin bitchen awesome love color and the wheels keystones look so right on a mopar you're going to get so many compliments fuck patina it ain't copper or silver iron rusts
I love the color what is it? I'm restoring a 68 Barracuda that I'm trying to do a 68-69 Super Stock vibe. I'm even going as far to put a name and graphic on the car even though it will be mostly streeting around. I will be racing here and there when I have the time. Like you I'm also posting videos of my progress.
You are the third site I had to resubscribe to today ,Is youtube screwing you guys out of subscribers?
Where you been brother ?
I went back to work FT, so I've been slacking on my UA-cam vids...🤣
It looks great brother! Is that B3 ice blue? I’m going to tell you a concern that I have though, and this is because of something that I ran into many years ago. The old Mopar colors are heavy metallics(B3,B5,B7) etc. when I was painting my 68’ barracuda years ago I shot the whole shell just like you did…then pulled the car out and set up all the panels, hung a few from the ceiling and successfully painted them all. The shell looked great like yours does, and all my panels looked great too…however when I put all the panels on the car-none of the metallics were layed down the same way and it was immediately noticeable! I ended up having to lightly sand the entire car with the panels all locked down and aligned as they were going to be, and sprayed the entire thing again with a couple of (what painters call them) “drop coats,” to make all the metallics even, then recleared the entire car heavily(5coats) knowing drop coats build some texture and I would probably wet sand and buff at least 2 coats off. I hope I’m wrong and it doesn’t come out that way for you but if it does-don’t freak out, just remember what I had to do and it’ll come out really good in the end. All the cars I’ve had to paint with “effectual paint” (metallics, pearls, flake, tri-coat) sincerestoratiKeep that happened I made sure to shoot the jambs, engine bay, and interior first with single stage, then completely assemble the exterior so that the finish all lays down evenly-panel to panel. Solid colors are the only thing you can get away with separately from my experiences. I know this kind of work can be overwhelming -trust me I’ve made every mistake a person can make, but after many years of it I have learned a ton that I can gladly share to make things easier on a fellow hotrodder -especially a Mopar guy! Reach out anytime if you get stuck or need advice on what to do next. Here’s my email: midnightoilsrestoration@gmail.com Keep up the great work brother! Ryan
Thanks brother! Much appreciated
I can't wait to see this build when you finally get it finished 👍
What happened to you doing videos so sad I hope everything ok that the main thing but I always used to look forward to seeing them .good luck no matter what your up to.😢
Still doing them, but not FT anymore. I went back to work but not sure how long I'll last at a real job...🤣
@@PoorBoysGarageUSMC I really miss them you did a great job on your videos hope to see more some time good luck with the new job I wish you nothing but the best.take care.👍
The car looks but as a painter of 40+ years 2 coats of clear is not very much clear to be cotting and buffing if you dont have alot of experience stay off your edges so you dont burn through it. Im sure once its all together its going to look sharpe i just hope that your dooŕs are going to match thats really not a easy color to paint for a 1st paint job alot of time people would get streaks in it from overlapping and the spray gun not being ajusted right looks like you nailed it. Are you going to letter the car like it was back when you bought it? I love hand lettered race cars
Yes it's going to be lettered, Voodoo child
@@PoorBoysGarageUSMC that is crazy I had a 69 chevelle race car named voodoo child in the early 80s before that the car was named good vibrations
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇦🇺
B3 Blue?
