The movies was my jam growing up. Had a whole series of western films with my star actor. What a time to be a live. Not to get all sentimental or anything, but I can only hope that my kids will look back on their childhood as fondly as I do on mine.

I owned The Movies cuz it was similar to The Sims, but i could never figure out how it worked for some reason. I loved the idea as someone whose first instinct in the sims was to make my fave tv characters, but i don't think i ever successfully finished a movie lol
I owned a copy of the Movies and I live in Europe, so it might not have been that niche maybe? I just never liked playing it much though, it's a bit too confusing for me 😅
The premise of the game is very good, they should re-release it with today's resources. I think it would be something really fun considering how much we can do with The Sims.

Once you get to the point where you can write your own scripts, the game becomes easier. Do note the limits of the scenes and try to go with it.
