Without all the USADA suspensions, legal issues and whatever Jones would theoretically have broken every damn record in the UFC for title defences and consecutive wins. We would have seen the matchups with Dan Henderson and Rumble Johnson plus an earlier rematch with Gustafsson before he lost his killer instinct. He would also probably have moved up to Heavyweight to fight there, basically so many what-ifs had Jones not ruined his life with bad decisions. Of course that also carries the possibility of him tasting his first defeat and declining early due to accumulating age.
Most importantly though, Jones wouldn't have had such a bad reputation with so many fans wanting to see him get beaten.

Yes, it's true that being a good person helps with being the GOAT in your sport but it has nothing to do with performance or accomplishments. I have GSP as my GOAT with Khabib in an extremely close second but if he never took steroids it would most likely belong to him. Hell, most people (including DC himself) believe that Jon doesn't even need steroids to be the best. He's that talented. But now so many people are against him because of that. If there were no controversies, no hit-and-runs, no failed tests, he would be the undisputed GOAT. But unfortunately, that didn't happen

This man cleaned out one of the most stacked and dangerous divisions in the UFC roster in mostly dominating fashion and made the division empty until he vacated the belt on his free-will. Nobody else aside from Mighty Mouse has done anything like that, though I reckon had Khabib stayed around he could have done the same to the Lightweight division, nobody can beat him there.
