When you tie rakhee you do the brothers arti with a diya on the plate and put a tilak on his forehead than feed him some sweets/ mithai without doing this the ritual is incomplete as you are asking god for your brother’s long life and his blessing too.
Khushi do not offer sweets to her. Brothers while tying the rakhee.this is also auspicious custom.brothers are great..give her gifts without asking mithaai..😃😃
