I listened and watched the entire thing and absolutely loved your voice and the way you use it to really add the emotion to the story, made it more interesting than if I were to read it.

Many people have lifted the hammer over the years. The spell on the hammer didn't originally prevent people from lifting it but rather determined whether or not the weilder received its power.

The hammer is his weapon, he doesn't get his powers from the hammer. That's like saying holding odin spear make u odin or when percy Jackson had zues lighting bolt he became zues, that makes no fukn sense

Can I say something? I really don't like how the original Thor is now called Odinson and Jane Foster is called Thor. Like, Thor is a name not a title and I find it so painful to see Thor unworthy. The original Thor without a hammer. I really don't want the old Thor being replaced. :(
I kinda see why they might have kept her as thor due to the enchantment. Whoever weilds the hammer has the powers of thor, what is thor? Thor is the god of thunder but if someone else has all the powers of thor, that makes them the god of thunder, the god of thunder IS Thor.

Honestly don’t get the people who hate this story. How can anyone hate a story about a mortal woman on the cusp of death, choosing to sacrifice the last moments of her short life in order to protect mortal life and beat some sense into the gods? Is that not metal as hell?

This comic makes no sense this is what happens when sjws get their way just logic all out the window. Thor losing his hammer makes no sense even if he does lose his hammer he's still ridiculously strong and mjolnir is sentient and picked Thor to be the weilder.

The idea of Jane Foster becoming Thor. I think is a new and creative direction to further the mythology of thor in the comics. I just feel it was poorly excuited . The reason being is , it is okay to up lift a character like Jane Foster but not to the extent of undermining and pointing down the original thor. I think the reason why I like the Eric Masterson version of thor so much is because he was a humble character. He never wanted to be thor but while the original thor was gone he wanted to honor his legacy. He also made it his priority to find the original thor when he was missing. He later took on a new mantle and became his own character called Thunderstrike. Reading the Jane Foster version of thor she comes off as a selfish character. My reason for saying this is because while Eric Masterson never felt comfortable in the role of thor and wanted to do everything in his power to bring back the original thor back. Jane loves being Thor and comes off as being additcted to power. She doesn't mind being called thor and abopted the same Shakespearean way of talking like thor does. She did not show to much of concern of thor being unworthy either. It was as if Jason Aaron wanted to replace the original thor with Jane Foster. And in that aspect I feel the story falls flate to me. But those are just my thoughts and opinions.
Nah it’s not that it’s that she mainly existed to facilitate Odinson’s arc. Her existence makes Odinson feel inadequate and makes him grow. She doesn’t grow herself. We know that she believes Thor should be human because that’s what keeps her humble, but if that’s wrong then she needs to grow to realize it’s wrong and if it’s right she should be helping others understand that it’s right but we don’t get character development for Jane so she does neither. The comic run is so preoccupied with the plot and Odinson that it give no time to Jane.

@@wophful I notice you call Fosterdottir by her first name. What's Odinson's first name? Hmm. This is a Thor storyline, not a Jane Foster storyline. She is not Thor, even if she is calling herself that. Its not like Miles Morales goes out calling himself Peter, or Amadeus Cho called himself Doctor Bruce Banner. What is so wrong about this is she calls herself Thor. I have no issue with a Female power bearer. I do not see why she changed her name. This is not the first time there was a story of her wielding Mjolnir - it was first in What If in 1978 August. She called herself Thordis, which is a uncommon Swedish female divine declension of the god names. So name Thor, which means Thunder, become Thordis. A more common alteration is Thora, which is the same thing - Female declension of Thunder. That story made sense, as she found the hammer instead of Donald Blake, but they pretty much don't have a transforming Thor anymore.
But the real issue, is how poorly the story advances to be gimmicky. War Thor was far worse a part of this storyline than Jane Foster acting out of character for her own decades of comic history.

ImYourBuddy no stormbreaker is the new MCU hammer. It's a common misconception that beta Ray's hammer is called that. It is actually stormbringer

Notice how in this comic run and the God of thunder run(Gorr the God butcher) there are no jokes, Thor isn't a baffoon and especially the God of thunder run(God butcher) is epic, while the movie made a mockery of it.

Great Story, Jason Aaron created a story that I absolutely enjoyed and still enjoying, there maybe a few recent things I don't agree with but ultimately I think he's done more good for Thor and all the supporting characters. As always, awesome narriarating and editing.
