Makes my fluffy, dry, and curly hair feel so soft! I use Arganlife Shampoo in the shower on my hair and it makes my hair so soft. I highly recommend it, especially for people who have dry or damaged hair like me!
Tati I've been a subbie for 2 years and you never fail to give the best reviews and recommendations! Whenever I think about revamping my routine for anything beauty related, I always watch your videos! Thanks for being so awesome. :-)
I love Loreal sulfate free shampoo and conditioner line ..I picked up a set at Ulta even before I saw this tutorial and my hair and color has drastically changed like over night..the LOreal balm hair mask is amazing at least for me..I love my hair for once..I am amazed at how soft and shiny and gorgeous the red and black tones in my box color last and stay true to the color on the box..I love sulfate free shampoos and conditioners now and will never use cheap shampoo again lol!!
I really miss Finesse shampoo back when it was dark blue and thick. The conditioner was really thick and both worked so well and smelled soooo good! I wonder why they stopped making it like they used to?
Pro tip: Your hair doesn't get used to products, it's usually just buildup. A clarifying shampoo followed by a deep conditioner once a week will usually solve that issue.
Exactly! I use a Shea Moisture shampoo daily & once a week I use the Kenra Clarifying Shampoo followed by a second wash with the Nioxin System 3 Hair Cleanser & the two together help to remove the build up that the Shea Moisture can leave.
+Emily Boothroyd If used too often, they can be drying, but in general, no. Just be sure to deep condition afterwards to replace any lost moisture. I like Ion's clarifying shampoo. It's gentle and color safe. You can pick it up at Sally Beauty Supply. But pretty much any salon brand clarifying shampoo will do the trick.
Yes!!!! Thought I was going a little crazy but my hair does get used to products really quickly and then will not behave itself! I constantly rotate products. FYI, always behaves really well for a week following a colour
Yes your hair does get build up of products when you say your hair gets used to things. Switch up your shampoos. I do a clarifying shampoo 3-5 days before i go in for color since i dont want it rinsing my fresh color our.
I think when you use the same product for a while it starts to build up in the hair causing it not to work as well as it did the first time but if you use a anti-residue shampoo when you notice your hair kinda "getting used" to the product your hair will feel the same as when you first started using the product
if you're looking for a split end treatment that works you have to try the promend treatment by nexxus. on the higher end spectrum of drugstore and some may consider pricey but I swear it's worth it's weight in gold.
The best dry shampoo I've ever used is Psssst which is the origional. It gives volume and soaks up all the oil. I've tried many and Psssst is the best.
I just broke down and finally bought OGX shampoo today & was looking all over UA-cam for a good review & couldn't find one! So I thought to myself, "What am I doing?!" I need to just check Tati's channel for a hair products video! Because you are someone I trust, I thought it was so funny that the first product you said to be your favorite (from the drugstore) was OGX! :D Just made my day so much easier & better! Thank you Tati!
OMG your fav hair products are mine too, that Loreal balm is wonderful. I'm natural and have had so much damage, that pretty little jar was the beginning of healthy hair for me.
I can't wait to get home from work each day to see your new video's! You are truly great at what you do and I love love love watching your videos! You are such a sincere, genuine person! Keep them coming. I learn so much from you!
I absolutely love these types of videos. They are so helpful and gives me all sorts of ideas of new products to try out. I love your very detailed reviews.
I actually super love the Dove Dry Shampoo. I sweat a lot at night to the point where my hair gets wet & this dry shampoo totally saves me from a greasy, wet mess in the morning! Sure it's heavy duty but that is what my hair seriously needs.
Don't give up on the the Tresemme Split Remedy. I found a way for it to work perfectly. Use it while your hair is still slopping wet from the shower. Put it in just on the ends. Then squeeze out excess and water. It really works. I love it if I use it this way.
Have you ever tried the Kirkland Moisturizing shampoo and conditioner from Costco? It is sulfate and paraben free and is really thick an luxurious feeling. Supposed to be salon quality. It is the only shampoo and conditioner I buy because it is so good and a great value.
I use sulfates and silicones on my hair anyways. I don't have time to stand in the store, and read the ingredients off a shampoo bottle. I don't really care if the shampoos bad for your hair, as long as I don't get dandruff and my hairs soft I'm fine.
I usually don't watch the ends of videos, but I stuck around for your's and laughed out loud, like, 3 times! I always watch one beauty guru video after my "morning routine" (getting the kids out the door for school!) and I have been picking your's the past few days. Thank you for your videos! :)
I had to come back to one of the vids where you mention the Loreal hair mask that comes in the tub. I have tangly, fine hair and over last winter here in WI my normal Redken All Soft conditioner wasn't "getting it done" as you would say. Holy Mama. That. Stuff. Is. Amazing. And I can get it on sale periodically at Walgreens!! Amazing. I will never be without it. Ever. Thanks so much!!!
I would totally try Garnier's Moroccan oil treatment. Its AMAZING! It really leaves your hair soft and silky but at the same time really helps defrizz your hair
i use that last tresseme product after i shower and then by the time it drys, it acts like a perfect crimping iron and I have an awesome hair day... I also put lot on to saturate the hair.... if you have a natural wave give that a try!
Love that LÒreal power surge mask!!! I am now using the power surge shampoo and conditioner. Surprisingly good for drug store, and the conditioner is comparable to the mask! I alternate between that and the Biolage Scalptherapie shampoo and conditioner (which are like $20.00 each in Canada). I haven't cut my hair in almost a year and it still looks great. Seriously, it does!
Watching this in 2016! Tati just letting you know you can buy batiste dry shampoo at most Walmarts or TJ Maxx (when they have it) for like five dollars! not much of a price difference but its a little way to save a few dollars
Elnett, I agree!!!! The hairspray is great but I returned it because the smell made me feel soooooooooooo sick. I got Big.healthy.hair spray and it smells great and it is awesome! Now, I realized that Elnett has an unscented version, may be in the future I can try the unscented version .
I went to Ulta for the first time, but not my last time. Have processed hair, going to use high end stuff. Went to Sally beauty got a professional shampoo, lots of high end stuff, my hair has never been better. Also go to hairdresser dye my hair, do deep treatment. Once you process your hair, better get sales and coupons and get high end stuff.
Still watching in 2017!! TATI IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND HASN'T AGE A BIT. love her😙😙😍😍 also more importantly she has STAYED TRUE TO HERSELF. GO TATI, great role model and am so thankful for your amazing positive impact... comes naturally. 💖👑💞
my mom got me hooked on organixx love the awapuhi ginger "dry styling oil" "deep repair hair mask" & "coconut milk oil" ... also just bought the TRESemme Smooth Keratin Infusing Shampoo & Conditioner Working fantastic & got them because I do like 2 switch it up every other time I wash my hair
Great timing. I went looking for, and bought, a texturizing powder today. Got2b. Tried it tonight and was meh. I think if I do the sprinkle and upside down method you described it might work better. But, very glad to know that the more expensive brands aren't going to necessarily be better. Such a useful tip. Thanks!
the suave dry shampoos qork surprisingly amazing! plus, they improved the scent so it doesnt small like chemical death anymore and smells a little like kenra products!
I hate that particular Loreal dry oil. I do love Tresseme’s Macadamia Nut One and loved another one they had before (it didn’t have a scent)!! It’s not as sticky and provides the same shine. Try it!!
those Loreal masks have lots of silicone in them though which artificially makes your hair feel soft but over time dries your hair out by not allowing water and oils into the follicle. The dry oil you used, from what I remember reading in target one day, has silicone in it too.
I liked the l'oreal balm. My only complaint is my curls turned into waves after a few weeks of regular use. I kinda miss my curls so I'm taking a break from it.
That's so funny that you don't like the Split Remedy conditioner from Tresemme because I use it once a week along with a couple of things from John Frieda's Full Repair range (these two are my go to haircare lines) and find it really hydrating and smoothing on my super thick hair. I think they might have reformulated the line because the packaging is different now. I think I'm going to try the L'Oreal dry oil though; thanks for the rec Tati!
Love your eyes in this video. Could you do a tutorial? I see you have used the naked palette, which I have, so I would love to know what to do with it! X
Also, how often do you dry shampoo your hair? I shower every morning and always wash my hair. I know that you should give your hair a break, but I would love your tips for doing this successfully. I always feel kinda dirty when I don't wash my hair.
Hi Tati! Need a new cream blush for fall! Any ideas? I have drier skin.... mature skin... I'm 50.. cannot find alot of cream blushes.. high end is OK... just want a pretty one with a nice dewish finish! thanks, Girl!
Thanks for another great video Tati! I like the Elnett hairspray too, but unfortunately I can't get over the awful smell! My hair just grabs onto it so much, and I smell it all day. I can't stant it! I would love to know what high end products you use on your hair. Thank you!
I agree about the l'oreal hairspray smell. So sad bc I love it but cannot use it. But on the positive side, I am super excited about the 2 l'oreal deep conditioning items!
If you have a Sally's Beauty Supply you can get the generic versions of a lot of high end brand hair care. The generic they have for the Kenra Volume hairspray is IDENTICAL and is only $8 compared to $20 something. I've used both. :)
Beyond the Zone has a new product out that is called Smooth Criminal. It's a hair primer or at least claims to be. It's pretty amazing. I definitely notice a difference in my hair when I don't use it. Even if I just plan on washing and going, I still make sure to spray it on my hair to reduce frizz. You should definitely check it out.
Hey Tati :) I have very frizzy hair throughout the year and while I know you don't I was wondering if you had any product recommendations at all? Also thanks for the tip about the dry shampoo, when I need to wash my hair but am working crazy early I spray some in before I go to bed to keep my hair going just that little bit longer :)
I loved this video! Right down to the Tom's diner ending lol You should try loreal ever strong overnight hair repair treatment. I put it on my ends when I use dry shampoo so it stays hydrated. Think I might pick up the dry oil now.

MsJgreen77 that was my go-to back in the day!
I have seen it at Walmart!
Pro tip: Your hair doesn't get used to products, it's usually just buildup. A clarifying shampoo followed by a deep conditioner once a week will usually solve that issue.

It's gentle and color safe. You can pick it up at Sally Beauty Supply. But pretty much any salon brand clarifying shampoo will do the trick.
WreckItRubix are there any drug store clarifying shampoos?
+Jessica Goodwin I'd like to know, too :)
Yes!!!! Thought I was going a little crazy but my hair does get used to products really quickly and then will not behave itself! I constantly rotate products. FYI, always behaves really well for a week following a colour
Yes your hair does get build up of products when you say your hair gets used to things. Switch up your shampoos. I do a clarifying shampoo 3-5 days before i go in for color since i dont want it rinsing my fresh color our.

use hair mask that are made for African hair because they are fire
Plus they are more likely to have no silicones
Can you please name some?
The best dry shampoo I've ever used is Psssst which is the origional. It gives volume and soaks up all the oil. I've tried many and Psssst is the best.

Tati, could you please do an updated version of this may 2017???
I am so glad that this exists, specifically from Tati. You're so honest and I trust your opinions 100% I know you wouldn't lie.
I absolutely love these types of videos. They are so helpful and gives me all sorts of ideas of new products to try out. I love your very detailed reviews.
I would like to also request an updated version of this, please! Thank you, Tati!
just came here from your newest unboxing when you mentioned the deep conditioner in the yellow jar! plz updates!! 🥰
elnett really is the best and doesn't make my scalp itch. love it!
Love the bloopers...its nice to see that even someone perfect can be imperfect! Keep adding those...love them
I actually super love the Dove Dry Shampoo. I sweat a lot at night to the point where my hair gets wet & this dry shampoo totally saves me from a greasy, wet mess in the morning! Sure it's heavy duty but that is what my hair seriously needs.
Trader joes grocery store sells soaps, shampoos, etc., as well. They have a sulfate free shampoo that is really nice and about 3 bux
Too bad there isn't one in Hawaii
Maya Ellsworth Yay you live in Hawaii!!!Me Too.And yea i've never seen trader joes around either.
Oh cool (: where do you live?
In Hawaii :)
which part tho
Adding another request for an updated hair care.
Nekkus works incredibly well. I dye my hair crazy colors, and fry it, and it always saves my hair.
I love watching your videos first thing in the morning. I find them really soothing before I have to go out and deal with my day.
I use sulfates and silicones on my hair anyways. I don't have time to stand in the store, and read the ingredients off a shampoo bottle. I don't really care if the shampoos bad for your hair, as long as I don't get dandruff and my hairs soft I'm fine.

Jaime Bellon it’s discontinued
Hi my all time fav hair spray Ellnett the only one I have ever used it’s fabulous just brushes out no residue !
Disodium laureth sulfosuccinate is generally used for foaming, or in this case to make the shampoo lather better.
Happy you liked it! xo's
Thanks Tati- I'm going to try out the Garnier dry shampoo! And love the regular video schedule.

I'm obsessed with the Aussie 3 minute miracle and the organix macadamia hair mask!
I went to Ulta for the first time, but not my last time.

i like more total repair mask than kerastase nectar thermique, dermorganic, alterego energizing cream and silicon mix regular and bamboo. love it.

When I finished that bottle I put my facial mist in the heat protectant bottle and I love it!
Your videos really are the best! Looking forward to the palette smackdown! Would love to know your absolute favorite matte palette and nude palette.
the suave dry shampoos qork surprisingly amazing! plus, they improved the scent so it doesnt small like chemical death anymore and smells a little like kenra products!
I hate that particular Loreal dry oil. I do love Tresseme’s Macadamia Nut One and loved another one they had before (it didn’t have a scent)!! It’s not as sticky and provides the same shine. Try it!!
Would you please please please do an update video of this? Please~~ this kind of video is very helpful!
You should really try the Paul mitchel hot off the press, it smells great and works wonders!
those Loreal masks have lots of silicone in them though which artificially makes your hair feel soft but over time dries your hair out by not allowing water and oils into the follicle. The dry oil you used, from what I remember reading in target one day, has silicone in it too.
I liked the l'oreal balm. My only complaint is my curls turned into waves after a few weeks of regular use. I kinda miss my curls so I'm taking a break from it.
I would love a video on different fall red lipsticks you recommend for different skin tones. I struggle to find the right color for me!
My top three hair care items are the Aussie three minute miracle, the garnier fructis style body boost root booster and the tresemme dry shampoo
seriusly you're my favourite guru on youtube, you're so amazing and i love you so much! keep up the good work, it's amazing xx
That's so funny that you don't like the Split Remedy conditioner from Tresemme because I use it once a week along with a couple of things from John Frieda's Full Repair range (these two are my go to haircare lines) and find it really hydrating and smoothing on my super thick hair. I think I'm going to try the L'Oreal dry oil though; thanks for the rec Tati!
Tati, you are such a beautyful woman, and on your videos you are so calm! Makes me watch them all :P thank you for your video! Greetings from Greece.
Love your eyes in this video. Could you do a tutorial? I see you have used the naked palette, which I have, so I would love to know what to do with it! X

I did get a sample of the morracon but havnt used it yet will have to try it soon
I was DYING at the end. Tati love you and will always love you & your videos.

Have you tried the Treseme hairspray? it works really well and smells AMAZING. Keep shining xxx
I love all about your channel, all your videos are ready good and helpfully. Myfav is Favs & hates/drugstore haircare
Also, how often do you dry shampoo your hair? I shower every morning and always wash my hair. I know that you should give your hair a break, but I would love your tips for doing this successfully. I always feel kinda dirty when I don't wash my hair.
The organix acai berry avacodo shampoo smells amazing! It also is great and gets the job fine
Tati, this video was great! Excellent reviews and you're so real and funny! Your video brought a smile to my face on a suck day, so thank you!
Wearing Dove dry shampoo now...and I agree with everything you mentioned. My roots are SO white...back to Bastiste dark I go..
I always use Talcum powder for like hair powder/dry shampoo adds volume and reduces oils x
Your bloopers always crack me up!
Little hyper today.....loved it!!! Love you!
I can watch you for hours, very calming voice. Love all you product recommendations.
Hi Tati!
Need a new cream blush for fall! Any ideas? I have drier skin.... mature skin... I'm 50..
cannot find alot of cream blushes.. high end is OK... just want a pretty one with a nice dewish finish! thanks, Girl!
Tati, what is the name of the TRESemme product and is it a dry shampoo? Thanks! 😊
Thanks for another great video Tati! I like the Elnett hairspray too, but unfortunately I can't get over the awful smell! My hair just grabs onto it so much, and I smell it all day. I can't stant it! I would love to know what high end products you use on your hair. Thank you!
I really enjoy Silk Elements for hear protectant, but I love the Tresemme!
I agree about the l'oreal hairspray smell. So sad bc I love it but cannot use it. But on the positive side, I am super excited about the 2 l'oreal deep conditioning items!
Tati, you make me laugh so much. Thank you for your helpful tips and vibrant personality.
If you have a Sally's Beauty Supply you can get the generic versions of a lot of high end brand hair care. The generic they have for the Kenra Volume hairspray is IDENTICAL and is only $8 compared to $20 something. I've used both. :)
Love your videos!! Bloopers are awesome!!! Can you do a high end or like your overall hair care products? And maybe a skin care product video?
Tati there is an unscented Loreal Elnett hairspray. It's the one that I use, because I can't stand the smell either! xo
This was a great video! I was wondering if you color your hair? And also how often do you (or do you recommend) washing hair to keep it healthy?
The bloopers was a nice touch! Loved the video!! :)
I love your videos :) especially because you have such a variety not just your typical "UA-cam tag" ones. :) keep it Tati!
My top hair picks are: 1) the whole line form the loreal ever (pure, creme, etc) and the aussie 3 min miracle
You should definitely check it out.
comparisons of highlighting concealers? high end and low eng? (giorgio armani, burberry, ysl, by terry, maybelline, loreal, etc?)
