He's such an adorable bat! I really like him. I love how you created the wings. It makes the wings look thick and full. His little face is sweet looking. You'd never know it was originally a cat head! 😂😂😂
It is adorable, Patty! What about making 2 & then comes the conundrum of how to hang - but if not on a door, that would also be very cool! Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely ADORABLE!! I think this is the cutest Halloween wreath out there…and I plan to make one…or two…! I don’t go for scary so this wreath is PERFECT. And your instructions & presentation were great…CONGRATULATIONS, my friend!😊
Thank you! I have a love/hate relationship with deco mesh! It doesn’t like me telling it what to do! 😂 Poly burlap and fabric mesh are much easier to work with!
Like the bat wreath idea....but Kat's Creations has an easier way to make the base....I am gonna try cutting some large plastic cake plate supports to use for the 'wings'; and I am thinking that instead of using a 10"x10" piece of mesh for each petal, maybe it would lay flatter if you use half the material. And you could always try using an iron with parchment laid over each petal to make it lay flatter as well. Just a thought. Thanks for putting the tutorial out there for everyone to learn!
I love this. I am a novice at wreath making. Im not sure I can figure out how to make this one but it sure is awesome! I'm not real sure on the placements of the mesh per quarter on the wreath form. I know you sectioned it off into 5 parts. Looks like 3-4 per section?? Thanks
What size holes are in your plastic sheet for size of zip ties you used. I like when you can start out with the supplies you used even the wire cutter you used. It would be helpful. I couldn’t find a list either. Thank you. I want to make this soon. It’s adorable
Under this video, you’ll see the description. Click on the “more” tab and if you look further down in the description of this video, you’ll find a list of products I used and links to where you can find them. I always use the 5 mesh of the plastic canvas since it has bigger holes than the 7 mesh. Thanks so much for watching!
I’m made one because it’s so cute and now people are asking what I charge. I do this as a hobby but don’t want to undercut you. You’re work so beautiful and your videos are so easy to follow. Thank you for sharing.
@tammydaulton6502 you charge what you feel necessary. You aren’t undercutting anyone! Just be sure you get paid what you’re worth! ❤️ Thank you for the kind words!

Yep! 😂 Thanks!!!
Very cute. I like the way you use the mesh in a way that hides the strings and will probably help prevent unraveling.
Yes! I’m all about less fraying!
Thanks for watching! 😊

If I used a 12 inch wreath frame..What size cat head would I need ..a 4 inch ?
@denisewarmack47 I would do a 4 or 5 inch.
Love the bat!

Just about finished with my second bat. This one was so much easier than the first one. Both done on a UITC board.
That’s great! I’m planning to do one on the UITC board soon!

@crookedtreecreations I absolutely love the bat I was wandering if you could show how to do him on the Laurie's board please
@paulward9426 I have a board ordered! 😃 Once I get it delivered, I’ll work on that video. Maybe try it with fabric mesh next time?
Adorable! 😊

You can do it! Yes, I put 3 “petals” on each line that I made.
Super cute! Very creative. Could I do this with poly deco mesh?
I’m sure you can! Thanks for watching!!! ❤️

As I am looking at the bat with the wings up It reminds me of an eagle, also angel wings.
Yes! I also thought of an eagle! Maybe next year! ❤
This is cute. Can you use the rainbow frame instead of doing it this way?
I’m sure you could. I don’t know the size of the rainbow wreath frame, so I can’t give any suggestions on how many petals, etc.
16 in. by8 in@@crookedtreecreations
What do you normally charge for it?
I have this listed on my website for $74.00. I take the supply cost and double that. Then I add on my time.
I’m made one because it’s so cute and now people are asking what I charge. I do this as a hobby but don’t want to undercut you. You’re work so beautiful and your videos are so easy to follow. Thank you for sharing.

I'm not a painter I can't draw a straight line with a ruler. Could you use the big googly eyes??
😂 I’m terrible with both, too! But I’m sure you could use googly eyes! 👀 I would get at least 1” in diameter, but no more than 2”.
How many rolls of the burlap mesh do I need for the 14 in?
If you were going to do one color, you could get it all done with one roll.
@@crookedtreecreations Thank you!
Supplys how much if everything??!
For this wreath, I used 22 (10" x 10") pieces of black and 10 (10" x 10") pieces of purple poly burlap mesh.
