I absolutely love my 2017 rancher. Its identical to yours. Same bike. N i dont give a damn what some of these haters on here talking bout its wrong to ride in the streams. Bullshit. Lmao. I guess its against the law to ride in a bass boat to😅. Im watching u to see how u snorkel yours n how you run the vent tubes and all in all water proof it so i can do the same n go use my rancher like a boat n raise some hell in some rivers n streams😅
I love my 2013 rancher 420 4x4 and it only have 470 hours on it. I used it for hunting but i haven't been hunting since 2020 so i need to take it on the trail soon.
I’ve been looking at the Foreman because it has locking differential and the headlight on the handlebars, but after seeing this video, I’m pretty impressed at what this Rancher can do without locking differential ! Id guess it even has an advantage with its smaller size and more nimble characteristics , easier to pick up the rear and maneuver it around too . Hmmm 🤔 thinking now .
I ended up getting a Rubicon soon after this and I agree, for the money I had just as much fun on the Rancher and the size difference was a big advantage.
We have a 19 model with almost 1000 miles and it's held up well considering how rough I'm on it, I tipped it over and I like to go fast but it's a good 4 wheeler
Maybe an odd question, but what kind of boots are you wearing, I hunt with Lacrosse Alphaburly Pros, and was wondering if they would be hard to shift in.
I love most of your videos but snorkeling a good 4 wheeler is insanity to me. If it were some cheap, off brand deal... maybe. But a Honda Rancher🤯🤦♂️! Just get a john boat and a trolling motor 🤷♂️. Hondas are what you pass down to your kids. They last that long. I'm not teaching you anything. You're smart. Hey, it's yours. Going to watch you anyway 😂. Even if I'm mad at ya brother lol.
I understand sometimes you need to cross the creek to get where you're going but I've never understood why people want to drive up and down a creek. I've always had more respect for the land than that. Even if it's not leaking oil or other fluids you're still disturbing the ecosystem and the creek bed. My neighbors raise cattle but they let me ride anywhere I want on their 1,600 acres. I'm allowed to cross the creek but they don't want anybody driving up and down them.
Jamie Carroll was issued a citation after the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) saw photos of his ORV on the top of Hickory Creek Falls. Just four months prior, the TWRA published an article warning riders that “riding in a stream, except to cross on a trail, is illegal.” This article was shared widely online, but it didn’t reach everyone. Carroll says he wasn’t aware how harmful ATV creek riding was to the fish populations and that it was illegal. Apparently, there weren’t any signs posted to let riders know. Creek riding might look harmless, but it can do irreparable damage to the streams and fish. According to TWRA law enforcement, citations will be issued to anyone caught riding in the creeks. “Where do the fish and other aquatic life have to go while eight, nine, fifteen or so side-by-sides come all the way up through their home? I would imagine [it’s] just the same as if a tornado or hurricane tore through our neighborhoods,” they said
Damn, I’m definitely sold on a manual foot shift rancher! Sweet video
I loved this more than my Rubicon.
@@AdventureDaily The 420 is such a good bike, we got a 21 late last year.
Just got me a 2024@@Theadore5M
Picked the toughest, tightest route possible 😂😂😂. Hilarious. I guess this is why we watch 😁👍. Butt holes puckered lol.

RMATV is awesome! So glad to hear they're hooking it up for you
Ranchers a great Atv! Enjoy
I will take the 420 tractor 🚜 💚 then pull it with my Prius 👌thanks for the review.
Congrats on getting Rocky Mountain hook-up for the build!
Congratulations, that’s great RM!

I’m thinking of getting a rancher now too bc of this video but still unsure between this ans the foreman
You can always add the handlebar headlight off a Foreman
@@steveg1122 Yes that’s always an easy fix , but my primary concern is having the locking differential.
what did you buy?i like the small size
I wish I could find a good one that was cheap. I grew up riding one and I miss it so much.
Great video, Tanner!!
Damn I want an ATV

“Looking forward to the build video Shame I missed the live stream yesterday. I didn’t get a notification about it for some reason
A tip : you can watch movies at Flixzone. I've been using it for watching loads of movies recently.
@Hamza Ace Yea, have been watching on Flixzone} for months myself =)
Looking forward to the finished product 👌
For the lols, put sand tires on that 4x4 boat.

Did you have any water or moisture in air box after that ride? Especially in the pond at the beginning?
None! Dry as a whistle, just don't go higher than the seat.
Let’s get them dirtbikes back
Need a snorkel lol so you can go up to the bars in water
coyotes are terrified of humans unless they have rabbis
I have rabbis

I'd like to get a four wheeler sooner or later.. gotta rebuild the ttr125l first..
Never owned an ES
Do you have to shift in the handle to shift it or is it automatic with option to manual shift?
Yes tanner
Should be a cool build dude. I will be glad when you get rid of those training wheels "Quad" and get back on two wheels. lol jk :)
Have you noticed the difference with the front brake trick? Does it actually work? Trying to decide on this and the Foreman. Thanks in advance.
Its going to be used for trails, hunting and some minor work here and there.
Is that a stock one or you upgraded it
Excellent video thanks! What year is your rancher and I assume it’s a manual shift?
It was a manual foot shift and I'm pretty sure it was a 16
Why do you keep it in four wheel the whole time
dirtbike & atv are two sides of the same useful coin really.
Does yours have power steering?
Nice
Quickest way to fuck up a four wheeler: driving through deep water
camping vid it's been a min
It 30 out
😎
its a boat its a jet ski its a... Honda
4 wheeler gang
does your 420 have power steering? and is it hard to steer?
Yes but only in usa models, not available in north america
Putting anything over 30’s is where you will start to bog the engine not 26’s
hi, i was just wondering is this a 4x4?
No you can tell by seeing if he has a shifter/button on the handle bars if he has a 4x4 switch
Oh wait no it’s a 2x4/4x4 he has a switch on his front left fender

I’m not trying to be mean but you don’t have to have it in 4WD 24/7
