@JDG3981 even at the gym is a no-no for me personally. Most people I see wearing sweatpants at the gym are those I never ever see training their legs. Trying to hide them maybe? I know there are exceptions to the rule, but personally I have well developed legs, I'm proud of them and have no desire to hide them, so I wear shorts 😜
@JDG3981 agreed, most gym nowadays are targeting new year's resolutioneers or otherwise guilty people who just go to the gym to feel better about themselves but don't really put that much effort on their workouts. I'm lucky to have a decent small local gym nearby, which I've been training there for over a decade. Fighting/boxing gym would be a nice option. Really keeps you in shape and really help building confidence. But you really need to commit to it and make sure you can attend the classes. Used to do karate, really liked it but unfortunately I got a job that wouldn't allow me to attend most classes. I was about 6 months away from the black belt test but it became way too hard to keep up with my busy schedule, would constantly get behind... A 24/7 gym I can go whenever I like was a better fit for my constantly changing schedule. Really miss martial arts though, definitely want to do it again someday.
I only wear sweatpants SOMETIMES on the way to the gym. Working out I can't imagine wearing anything but shorts. Even if they're comfortable, I sweat like crazy. But I agree, you should have a baggy set of clothes to wear around the house doing chores/lounging.

after seeing one of your previous videos about those perfect all day pants I decided to buy a pair. they actually activated your discount code for me early . Even after the discount code they came to 130 dollars Canadian. If they cause me 20 bucks in tax and duty then they will be 150 dollars that is why over budget for me but i still wanted to have at least one pair. Hopefully i didn't get them too long. I got a 36" some times I have no idea what pant inseams are. some pants only come in a 32 and look too short its rare that I can find pants in a 36" so I will buy a 34" but just encase these shrink a bit in dryer i got longer then I probably need. Crocs as an indoor slipper imo are great. Lightweight, comfortable and durable, crocs are great. When you're wearing them in the privacy of your own home it shouldn't matter that they don't look good.
Nothing wrong with having a staple of single-color shirts in classic styles. Whether it’s a tee, a Henley, a polo. Buy nice ones in classic colors (white, black, gray) or even specific colors that match your skin tone (nothing too bright if you’re pale) and keep them in good shape. Paired together with properly fitting, appropriately colored jeans, and nice shoes does more from a style perspective than most guys can imagine.

I rock American Giant heavyweight sweats. Slim and baggy. They are gorgeous stuff. Pricey but not ridiculous.

What about cargo shorts? I have a trip to a beach pier (not actually getting in water) and I'm going to wear a tank top and sandals. I just don't know if with it I have grey gym shorts that fit and look good or greenish cargo shorts that match my tanktop that's camo. Any advice would be great.

I wear my blue camouflage cargo pants with army boots and green denim jacket, girls/women just love it , I get a LOT of looks. Having said that I'm broad shouldered, 6'3 and I look like a soldier. Probably not for everybody.
