Once in my life I was able to do that. The year was 1995 and I paid $32,000 cash for a 16 by 80 I was actually headed up to the corner store when I saw my home come around a curve. I remember very well the excitement and I'm so happy for you all

I remember being beyond excited when we got our new single wide. I could tell by yoyr voice how happy you were but your sweet husband was so overwhelmed 💗 he could hardly express how happy he was. You have a beautiful spot. I can't wait to see you move in. And if it's good it's of God. Your home was blessed by him when you found that Bible. That was awesome. ❤
Yes we both were so happy and in shock because the delivery that day a was totally unexpected. God has been showing us every step of the way that he loves us and is with us always no matter what. 💕

I landed on here by accident. I grew up in single wide mobile homes. My dad built homes with Liberty Homes out of Goshen, Indiana. That’s a real nice 16x80. I’m surprised that you didn’t lay a full cement pad with hurricane tie downs. We have to have them here in WI. So glad to hear that God provided. He’s always right on time.

Congratulations! I grew up in a mobile home. Ants were in the sugar (spectracide)🤣… mice were around (steel wool around openings that lead outside). The dishwasher and garden tub leaked. I remember not being able to use it. (Dad should have fixed it though 😡)… They also argued a lot about high bills but extra insulation and proper underpinning would have solved that I think. The pipes busted one winter so definitely insulate those. I’m just trying to think of all the stuff I remember them arguing about so y’all can have peace at your new home. The Christmas lights were always nice though! Congratulations again!

Oh please build a storm shelter. I lived in a mobile home but we had a shelter. And the storms are getting worse nowadays.
We are looking into getting one. We have experience a really bad tornado before and want to be prepared.

I know a lot of people trash mobile homes but my brother-in-law and sister-in-law moved in one on a piece of land they bought and the house payment for the trailer plus the payment for the land is under $1000. And it’s nice, it has granite countertops. Humongous walk-in closets, a huge laundry room and a giant pantry. Three bedrooms two bathrooms every single thing you could possibly need or want. She said they didn’t want to spend all their money on a roof over their head, but they wanted something that they could live comfortably in. With both of my children my husband and I are thinking about selling our house and doing this so we could do more traveling. It’s really a smart to go.
Yes it is smart. Mobile homes are made so much better nowadays and they save so much money. People snub their noses at them but we love ours and plan on paying it sooner rather than later so we can be debt free. It’s our only major bill right now. But it won’t be for long. If you take care of them you can enjoy it for many years.

I instantly fell in love with the one we got. Please go to regional homes of Pontotoc you won’t be disappointed. We had such an amazing experience ask for Caleb he was our sales guy and he was so knowledgeable and made the process super simple and easy.
