Hi guys, great video, my wife and I are soon to join the live aboard boating community on a 12.6 x 50ft widebeam, brand new to boating, but glued to UA-cam and your videos are invaluable. Keep them coming 😊
Hey hi .. You might consider using surface wire moulding to route your cables from your mushroom vent to the front of the closet, around the fassure (sic), to wherever you need it to end up. I hope this helps.
My late partner had a BT contract that gave him Android tethering whenever we were narrowboating WITHOUT any Router on board! It also gave him more Megabytes than he would ever need. As soon as we got on board he would access his Android AP (?) on his mobile phone and that would then activate his tablet, my tablet and my mobile! As BT has the majority of hook up spots in the UK it was a win-win situation with the only consideration being that his mobile (which was the tool to give all other machines access) had to be near a window.
EE unlimited data all day long. We suffered with THREE for 2 years and then went to EE , the instant relief from endless buffering was fantastic. I switched my phone from THREE to EE at the same time and now I can make and receive phone calls inside the boat which rarely happened on THREE. Dont bother with Smarty , it piggybacks on the THREE network so no signal advantage will be gained. Our wifi antenna cable goes out of the window just means a 1 inch gap all year round but its near the fire so we dont seem to get any rain running down the cable.
Hi 👋 hope you’re well 😁 when we first got Vivere EE wasn’t so good where we are, mind you think they have ramped up a lot now, so definitely worth looking into! At the moment we do pop the cable out of the window it’s not really a problem, would just be ideal if we can get the cable down through the mushroom and it’s an easy fix! 🤔😁👍

Oh wow that was very lucky, you didn’t have to worry at all! 😁
Have a look at the Mesh internet system. May work we on a wide beam
Cool will have a look thank you 🙏

Firestick and stream all TV on Smarty
Yes we’re going to have a look at smarty thank you 😊
I would not recommend smarty what so ever as there customer service is terrible
Oh really 🤔 never had to use the customer service so guess we’ve not experienced that, good to bare in mind though 👍🏻
Eh! Just use some trunking and get a hole drilled for the cable same place as the TV aerial, ofcourse the panels will go back 🤷🏻♂️
We tackled it in a later episode 😁👍🏻
