Thanks for this info. Further to what you talk about here, we looked in San Antonio and didn't like the conjestion, and the houses all feel "on top of each other". We stayed in an Airbnb and found it to be super noisy at night and just not nearly as great as people say. We ended up in Mexiquito, a newer colonia located right behind Guadalupe. It's a 20 minute *Flat walk to the centro, only 10-15 minutes to Fabrica Aurora and everything in that area. We have several wide open park spaces, very little to no noise (really), it's clean and safe. Under a 15 minutes to Park Zeferino which is manicured, has water features and an off leash dog park. We have one of the only decent gyms in town, and we're a 3 minute drive to the golf course Ventanas de San Miguel. A 10 minute drive to the Las Grutas hot springs and 20 minutes to several wineries. It's amazing! Last year we bought a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath home with secure parking for 2 cars and a rooftop terrace looking to a park, for under $200,000 USD! We love it here. Definetly one of the best areas in SMA, and still somewhat unknown.

We will be there in a few days. Staying for 2 weeks and perhaps we will find a place to rent. I'm wondering what the best way to SMA from the airport is?
280 k US dollars = 4,750,00 Mexican pesos ...580 K US dollars at the current rate is 10,576,358 Mexican pesos. There is a mistake to be corrected in the price of the orange home in the gated comunity.
it all depends on the current exchange rate for sure...there have been changes lately so with any home that is in Mexican pesos, it is good to do the current exchange rate calculation. thanks for pointing that out!
I know the best neighborhood but better not divulge because if the secret gets out everyone will ruin it. It's all personal preference though on neighborhoods.
content is good. But with all due respect stand please step back from the camera, I cannot believe no one has told you that you are too close to the camera. It distorts everything. Your guests are adequately placed but all I see is everything I do not want to see. Its very distracting.

Unfortunately is getting very expensive, soon it won't be affordable for all. Soon will be problem with water supply.
How are you actually allowed to live there ? It seems silly to purchase if you can’t stay there.
You left out the nicest neighborhoods = Balcones, Atascadero, Ojo de Agua.
