nice video, consider pushing the piston back before you pull the caliper up. I need to do mine but I think you can undo just the bottom bolt and swing the caliper, other thing is if you get squeaks use some copper grease.

Thats one thing I missed out, I forgot to record me doing it, I also unscrewed the brake fluid cap to make it easier for me to push them back in.

Good video, to the point. Typical garages, I had a Fiat dealer say the same to me (discs and pads) checked it that night, plenty of meat on the pads... Do you know if the DS3 has any kind of dashboard warning when the pads are low or not? Thanks

I have a c4 with brake pads wearing thin. I was going to take it to a garage but I'm pretty confident I could do a better job myself. I used to service my own cars, so this shouldn't be too difficult?

Next time you do your pads just take bottom bolt out of caliper lift it up and change pads

I'm guessing you open the brake fluid chamber before pushing the piston back in?

Hey! Silly question but where were you putting the trolley jack on the front? I always struggled to find a place to put it to be able to place an axel stand too

Zero wrong with the original pads, in fact your new replacement pads are probably poorer quality then the OEM ones you just replaced. A quick clean up of the discs and pads with some brake cleaner to remove and brake dust would have been a better option looking at the OEM pads.

I know, They didn't need changing really , but there was some decay there, After changing it got rid of the grinding/squeak noise too . Pads I bought was recommended at Eurocarparts(not the cheapest) so I would think they are better than OEM. Thanks for your input though buddy !

Unfortunately i only get 'one take' with this kind of job, I was too busy focusing on the task at hand to worry about the camera, its not a 'how to' video really :O . And I really like my head :D Lol.

Check brake discs thickness with a micrometer, 22mm when it's new and minimum 20mm because I think they are very close to the minimum.
