As a matter of fact, there’s a lot of unsolvable puzzles that have been created. Obviously Doom and Reed have more varied knowledge, but the point is that Lunella has a higher IQ, therefore it would be easier for her to learn those things then it was for Doom and Reed, just like the banners puzzle. Valeria Richards is also stated to have a higher iq than Reed as well, but obviously as I said before he has had time to learn more. She's very intelligent in her own right and very similar to tony's character, though i wouldn't out her above tony or Bruce in this list as she has less feats and her whole identity is hinged on tony's invention to begin with. Though she, just like tony, has her flaws, she can be too hot headed and overly confident at times and she still has much to learn, but she's often blinded by her talent, thats quit similar to anakin skywalker from star wars.

You can observe and analyze that which came before you but if you don't have the capacity to expand upon it or comprehend it, it means little.
You can’t compare young geniuses to the likes of Reed Richards and Tony Stark. These young geniuses have the benefit of the inventions and innovations of their predecessors. It’s like comparing Tony Hawk to today’s young skaters. There are no doubt kids that are as good or better than Hawk was, but they’re building off of his innovations. Like Richards and Stark, Hawk propelled his field into another level. Unless these young geniuses can claim the same, then they’re simply not on the same level.
Tony should be higher on the list he even received the power of cosmic, but yes not top 3 for sure due to he being his own worst enemy and sleeping with half of marvel women and riri Williams didn't last in her own book so no loss there.
Tony didn't have an iron man to give him inspiration on making a suit. He did it in a cave when he had to make it. Tony could have made one when he was 16. He just didn't have a reason to.
One thing marvel has failed to do is touch on the isolation that comes with it. The book flowers for algernon touches on it well. The more a person is able to grasp subjects and form advanced connections the harder it becomes to relate to others who are just not able. It would be interesting to see how marvel would tackle this side of extreme intelligence.

Movie Shuri was basically a whole new character. I really enjoyed her and was surprised when I got into the comics she was so different. She was a bright but not super-genius woman with a deep connection to Wakanda's mysticism and a chip on her shoulder for being her Dad's 2rd favorite kid. (T'Chaka was a good dad but wasn't great at hiding that T'Challa was priority 1. Their adopted brother Hunter took it even harder.) MCU Shuri, happy Tech genius and chill little sister was basically a new character invented by Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole. Marvel has tried lately to make Comics Shuri more like Movie Shuri, even hired an award winning Afro-Futurist writer to helm the series. But it didn't catch fire.
So why isn't Blue Marvel or Black Panther is on this list?? They are literally on par with the likes of Bruce Banner, Tony Stark, Dr. Doom and Reed Richards, other times they've surpassed and outsmarted these guys.

This is the first list I've seen that really considers the downsides of some of the hero's personalities and changes their placement accordingly. The only thing I really question is that almost half the list are younger heroes who really haven't fully proven their intelligence yet. I love that you listed Hank Pym about where I would have put him (higher than most lists I've seen). Also like that you brought up the fact that Tony Stark is really an engineer (and businessman) whose ego limits his intelligence and has an advantage because of his resources (that were originally created by his father). 👍
Whoever this guy is, I hate him so much. Riri is not smart compared to Tony Stark. Think about it, Tony Stark built his suit in a cave with a box of scraps without that many tools to work with, as well as inventing, a infinitely sustainable source of clean energy, and he invented and created the first Iron Man suit in his head. Riri went to a MIT school, with ample resources, top-of-the-line tools, and materials, and also had access to computers and a Tony Stark bot that helped her through it. Riri is low-key not even in the top 100.

You can observe and analyze that which came before you but if you don't have the capacity to expand upon it or comprehend it, it means little.
He should actually be in the top 5 really, he created an entire universe and armors to take on Celestials!
The Leader, Modok, Peter Parker, Blue Marvel and T’Challa are all extremely intelligent also.

You can’t compare young geniuses to the likes of Reed Richards and Tony Stark. These young geniuses have the benefit of the inventions and innovations of their predecessors. It’s like comparing Tony Hawk to today’s young skaters. There are no doubt kids that are as good or better than Hawk was, but they’re building off of his innovations. Like Richards and Stark, Hawk propelled his field into another level. Unless these young geniuses can claim the same, then they’re simply not on the same level.

Tony should be higher on the list he even received the power of cosmic, but yes not top 3 for sure due to he being his own worst enemy and sleeping with half of marvel women and riri Williams didn't last in her own book so no loss there.

Tony didn't have an iron man to give him inspiration on making a suit. He did it in a cave when he had to make it. Tony could have made one when he was 16. He just didn't have a reason to.
Also she isn't the smartest in the marvel universe. Just smartest on earth. But she def has the abilities to become the smartest.
One thing marvel has failed to do is touch on the isolation that comes with it. The book flowers for algernon touches on it well. The more a person is able to grasp subjects and form advanced connections the harder it becomes to relate to others who are just not able. It would be interesting to see how marvel would tackle this side of extreme intelligence.

Movie Shuri was basically a whole new character. I really enjoyed her and was surprised when I got into the comics she was so different. She was a bright but not super-genius woman with a deep connection to Wakanda's mysticism and a chip on her shoulder for being her Dad's 2rd favorite kid. (T'Chaka was a good dad but wasn't great at hiding that T'Challa was priority 1. Their adopted brother Hunter took it even harder.) MCU Shuri, happy Tech genius and chill little sister was basically a new character invented by Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole.
Marvel has tried lately to make Comics Shuri more like Movie Shuri, even hired an award winning Afro-Futurist writer to helm the series. But it didn't catch fire.

Most of the things Marvel has let writers establish in the last decade is trash. Reed Richard’s should always stay the smartest, that was his thing for decades.

Reed not being #1 is a crime against comics. He has much more feats under his belt than any of these newer characters. Sae with Stark and Doom. Theyve proven themselves many times over decades worth of stories...with these new characters were just told theyre smart.

This is definitely different than the MCU, where Suri is the smartest, even more so than Stark and Banner. But now that Reed Richards is on the scene - - that’s all going to change (no he’s not really dead).

This is the first list I've seen that really considers the downsides of some of the hero's personalities and changes their placement accordingly. The only thing I really question is that almost half the list are younger heroes who really haven't fully proven their intelligence yet.
I love that you listed Hank Pym about where I would have put him (higher than most lists I've seen). Also like that you brought up the fact that Tony Stark is really an engineer (and businessman) whose ego limits his intelligence and has an advantage because of his resources (that were originally created by his father). 👍

Whoever this guy is, I hate him so much. Riri is not smart compared to Tony Stark. Think about it, Tony Stark built his suit in a cave with a box of scraps without that many tools to work with, as well as inventing, a infinitely sustainable source of clean energy, and he invented and created the first Iron Man suit in his head. Riri went to a MIT school, with ample resources, top-of-the-line tools, and materials, and also had access to computers and a Tony Stark bot that helped her through it. Riri is low-key not even in the top 100.
Just say how you really feel when POC are given important roles.. not even top 100? I think you have less of a problem with her intellect than you just do with her.
