Reforming and resizing Argentine Mauser Brass Using Lee Precision Dies

The Lee Precision 7.65x53mm Belgian/Argentine resizing die does not set the shoulder back sufficiently in resized reformed brass (i.e., converted brass) to enable the round to be chambered in the Argentine Mauser. This video discusses known work-arounds and demonstrates a simple method of setting the shoulder back using an inexpensive feeler gauge.

Get a 7.65x53 file trim die and you should be able to resize 270 cases. The Belgian is the same as the Argentine. GOD BLESS YOU! GOD BLESS AMERICA!! GLORY BE TO GOD!!!

I had the same problem when I resized 270 brass to 7mm Mauser. My solution was to set the shoulder back with a 7mm-08 die.

Am very new at this. I have an 1891 argentine mauser. When re sizing what bullet do use have to use?

Seems to be an easy conversion resizing .30-06 and trimming down to 53.5mm with a case trimmer

No ofense. In my case, I had a ton of .270 cases to spare so I didn't have to purchase any Mauser cases.
