I’ve played out all the spitfires, and the low tier ones have shit guns, that’s why people say they suck because of the guns. Once you get the higher teir ones; they get better engines and guns. But they are still pretty slow. At a point, nobody but zeros will fight you. They will literally run. Once you get to the mk22 and 24, you ALWAYS fight jets, and they will run every notherfucking time and you can’t do shit. It’s extremely frustrating. But if in some circumstance you get a downtier against props, YOU ABSOLUTELY DOMINATE

As a Britain main, here's a Spitfire secret - the best Spitfire in the game is the Mk1a (or I think they call it the (e) now). The second-best one is the 5.7 MkIX
