Not only that there's no record whatsoever of Jews, Torah, Exodus or Moses before the 4th Century. Almost 1000 years after the period it's supposed to have happened. Genesis was made up, probably by Jewish scribes in Alexandria from earlier stories, some from other cultures. The Israelites at this time, were, it seems from the archeological record, polytheistic Canaanites.
Your analysis resonates with me. It is clear, balanced, and pragmatic. I always prefer grounded, thorough scholarly research, when dealing with topics that can easily veer into exaggerated or overly simplistic faith-based claims. Approaching the topic critically, like you just did, respects intelligence and allows for informed thought.
I love all the various topics you discuss! It provides a big picture, overview and context. I hope you can tune out the critics. Some of those folks aren't giving valid "feedback" but are simply immature types who sadly need to get a life of their own. Keep up the good work! this talk was just as interesting as always.
From the perspective of Eastern and Western religions it appears that monotheism in the west ie Judaism is more of the discovery that YHWH is not another being that can beat up the other gods but that YHWH is beingness itself! The Jewish theological description of the buddhist concept of Buddha mind or Universal Mind. This would match Catholic Theology and Hindu belief of the Self. Man tends to anthropomorphize aspects or elements of reality. Angels and Archangels are similar in this context as polytheistic gods. There is some possible evidence the buddhist made it to the library of Alexandria and therefore might have influenced the Jews and most likely Jesus when He lived there. This may be the story of man coming to realize the truth all enlightened people have realized. Which is, we are all one in God. And monotheism and polytheism become irrelevant terms.

I love learning the similarities between ancient religions, this was great! Would love to hear your take on any shared lineage between Kabalistic/Jewish magic practices and Celtic/Druid magic?
It’s weird and eerie that by 435 a.d. only judaism was considered the only legal non-chistian religion side by side christianity in the Roman empire. All other ethnic, pretty much european(white) forms of knowledge and worship had been outlawed with most of the practitioners converted or murdered by the new christian believers.
That's because the very first christians in Rome were almost entirely from Judea and a christian religion was practiced among ethically jews only. Christian, meant - jew. Anyway, they surely knew the old testament and seen the connection between those two religions
Only the Jews were given dispensation to not have to worship the Roman gods because the Jews were willing to die before they would do that. The Romans figured, dead slaves don't pay taxes so they let them off the hook. After the destruction of the Temple, there were no more sacrifices and so leadership shifted from the Priests to the Scribes which intellectually pointed out to Rome that the Christians were not indeed Jews and therefore not under the dispensation of not worshipping the Roman gods (which by the way was considered treason due to no separation of religion and state) and thus began the persecution of the Christians.
I'm a strong Christian, but I haven't founded a church yet because I struggle to trust people and often see through their insincerity. I've noticed that ancient religions, including the occult, hold some truth and align in certain ways. The Old Testament is filled with mysteries we're only beginning to understand, and ancient civilizations like the Sumerians had remarkable knowledge, such as understanding the planetary system long before modern science. Exploring texts like the Book of Enoch has shown me deeper truths, even though it's not widely accepted by the church-perhaps for good reason. It's important to stay neutral and genuinely seek the truth. Doing so often leads to Christianity, but also reveals that the world isn't black and white; it's far more complex. Darkness exists but isn't absolute. We're even uncovering ancient mysteries, like Atlantis and the drying Euphrates River, which suggest ancient people knew things we still don't fully understand.
The Biblical authors were definitely trying to establish a respectable pedigree for Israel. Moses gave them a connection to Egypt, but Abraham was from the equally ancient Ur of the Chaldees.
i have tried to date man's moving beyond an earlier UR-relgion to some sense of the 'anti-religion' we're left w/today, & i think this roughly occurred under Alexander--evince macedonian 'conquests' of the east. probably the egyptian 'new kingdom' was the last hurrah of a much older mesopotamian activity, and these activities were all extending out everywhere. what we call 'jewish' was a mix existing w/in this whole activity, this was moving out of the bronze age collapse & our refining of agricultural production . . . ALL cultures were interested in this.
I was told that there was no mention of the exodus or the plagues recorded in Egyptian literature which is very unusual because I would think that if these things happened they two would be recorded because the Egyptians recorded everything
Not only that there's no record whatsoever of Jews, Torah, Exodus or Moses before the 4th C BC almost 1000 years after the events were supposed to have happened. Genesis was compiled, probably by Jewish scribes in Alexandria. It is based on earlier stories, some borrowed from other cultures. The Israelites were, it seems from the archeological record, basically polytheistic Canaanites.
@ i quieted a whole room of jewish rabbis when i mentioned that the Hebrew language came from the Phoenician’s and the rest of my visit was ignored by every jew with no argument
Obviously multiple sources in Iron Age. Of course, indirectly from the Bronze Age, because that is where the Iron Age came from. And unique ideas in that matrix of borrowed ideas.
I foolishly got into an online argument with some people. The story of Mosses as told if real would be a prince of Egypt and would have had the finest education in their Magick and Philosophical schools.. They completely scoffed at that. IDK about people.
Conor Macdari relates how many of the words (people, places, events) in the OT are of Irish origins, no way around this. He relates how the Irish priesthood had developed the concepts and ideas which were stolen by the British and Roman priesthoods and placed within the bible. He believes civilization actually developed from West to East also. The places talked about in christian scripture all reflect back to the Irish, he even thinks that those areas around "Israel" were in Ireland, the priesthood having changed the names. There is also great questions around the derivation of the hebrew language, where and how it developed.
I tried to believe for many years even after having doubts as kid concerning things of religion. Atheist can not disprove that a god or gods exist but they can prove that all three abrahamic religions were put together from different sources by humans in early a.d.
I really dont think the Jewish people are a chosen people, yaweh is not the farther but an evil entity, something they themselves should not be following and worshipping, not a great thing to be chosen by very likely one of the shatan ( were the name satan came from). Their is something to mankind as a whole but no one tribe is more "chosen" than another, that was one of the many lies of yaweh.
Well YHWH isn’t even the God of the Bible anyway so idk what you’re trying to even talk about rn. Spewing non sense from Babylonian Talmudic Jewish traditions unrelated to the God of scripture.
Anyone who subscribes to the cosmological argument or the transcendental arguments would be either monotheistic or some form of pan

When the Greeks conquered Kemet which they called Egypt. They created a hybrid parental deity in order to combine Egyptian mythology with Greek mythology. So they combined the Egyptian God Thoth with the Greek God Hermes. They called him Hermes Trismegistus III. Who was known as… “The Thrice Great.” He was famous for triumphing over the season of death. Which is what the number 3 almost always symbolizes in World Mythology. Isn't this what the Flavian Dynasty did after conquering the Jews? Didn't they create a new hybrid form of Greco-Roman Judaism? To integrate Jewish mythology with Greco-Roman mythology? Calling him… “Jesus The Christ.” Who is also famous for triumphing over the season of death. As represented by… “The Trinity.” Isn't this a better explanation for the origins of Christianity rather than Harry Houdini magic? Wasn't Paul secretly working for the Flavian Dynasty? Weren't all of the original Roman Catholic Saints' members of the Flavian Dynasty? Weren't all of the original symbols used by the earliest Christians identical to those of the Flavian Dynasty? And wasn't the earliest iconographic image of Jesus The Christ, in a catacomb, under the city of Rome, which was owned by a Flavian Princess? Weren't all of the original Jesus cult texts produced under the oversight of the Flavian Dynasty? Didn't the Flavian Dynasty posses the only remaining copy of the Hebrew Tanakh other than the Greek Septuagint translation? Isn't there Flavian typology in the Gospels? Weren't the canonical texts all back dated like the historical fiction of Gone With The Wind? Wasn't Emperor Vespasian known as the Jewish Messiah? Wasn’t Pope Clement of Rome a Flavian? Wasn't Josephus a temple whore for the Flavian Dynasty? Weren't the Flavian’s, as well as Paul, descended from King Herod? There was no separation of Church and State in the Roman Empire. And Christianity is clearly a Greco-Roman hybrid form of Judaism created by the Flavian Dynasty. As an attempt to adapt, pacify, and integrate the rebellious and defiant Jews into the rest of the Greco-Roman Empire. Just like the Greeks created Hermes Trismegistus to integrate Egyptian mythology with Greek mythology. Then finally Neo-Flavian Constantine chose the Flavian family religion to be the official religion of the entire Roman Empire. In order to consolidate power in his fractured Empire. And then Eusebius edited and rewrote the history of the previous 3OO years. Destroying all contradictory evidence. Such as all of the non-canonical Jesus cult texts. It isn't history it is all simply Greco-Roman mythopoetic literature. Today it is known as Historical Fiction. “What profit hath not this fable of Christ brought us.” Pope Leo X 💙
Of course the simpler explanation is that none of these gods were real, and it's just a case of a particular priestly grift being copied by another set of grifters. Just like the flood story adopted from Mesopotamian mythology.
If god is real why would it show itself to a creation that is so weak. Do you try to let yourselves be known to the bacteria that live in your rectum. God doesn't choose prophets. Men beg and try through magic to reach god then declare themselves prophet's and write a nice book to add to their ego 😂😂
God was taking his people out of Egypt, because a man(Pharao) in Egypt thought he was God. God will make his point in the end times that he himself is God and not a man. His name is Jesus

I feel like Judaism is like a megazord of all the ancient cults

That is a lie. The Catholic Church is literally Roman paganism.
Great topic

"Jesus" was teaching mysteries... What were they?
@sharon_rose724 What part of that did I mention Jesus, It says the Old testament since obviously you can't read
