Yes. I'm getting one. Die cut amazing packaging. Alot of love went into this set, obviously. I've only been waiting since 1992 for these shows to get the official release treatment! Two thumbs up.
I don't really get these complaints about it being too big and not fitting on the shelf. Put the music into your iTunes and bring out the box for special occasions like when your friends come over... Problem solved.
This is the definition of awesome! Amazing music, amazing packaging. And congratulations to Cornell University Press for their book on the 5/8/77 concert.
Looks awesome, can't wait. Its all about the collector. Those most concerned about space can probably download it and have it stored as a file. That would work too I guess. hahaha
I'm trying to hunt one of these down, does anyone remember how much the original Get shown the Light box set was when it was released? Ive seen prices all over the place.
I want one:) I wish I could go see a show whenever you guys come close, it sure isn't like the good old late 80's and on the trash crew, Thank You Bill Graham and gettin' in the shows for that work, Lord knows if I got a pay check it would be big, big in heaven yes, good health yes, but not enough to take my self to a show anymore... yeah I'm sad.
Some of you just don't get it. This is for collectors. If you want just the music the download it or buy the stand alone CD's. Stop complaining about its size. As a collector, i love this stuff.
So, basically, you couldn't sell the outrageously priced package as "limited edition", so you sell the rest as "unnumbered". Hey, I subscribe to "Picks" every year because it's reasonable. Isn't there a commercialization limit? Good thing it'll be on UA-cam for free vibes; and that's what keeps the tribe growing, so maybe reign it in a bit. You never have extras of reasonably priced packages. Just saying.
I greatly dislike oversized packaging. I'm regretting purchasing this now. All I really wanted are the CDs in the smallest packaging possible so they will fit on a CD shelf.
I'm not leaving my porch until this arrives....

That packaging looks as good as the music sounds! Holy Moly!

It appears the book only comes with the limited editions which is sold out. I suppose the book is available separately at Barnes and Noble bookstores.
Yes, the book is available through your favorite bookseller, whomever that may be.

Wow! If the audio is that good on UA-cam, I can only imagine how good the CD will be!
Holy moly, that's so beautiful! dang it, wish I would've splurged on this! I have the recordings, but DAMN! That artwork, that packaging
Just. Exactly. Perfect.

Love verses money!!! GOD says I'm cool!
That looks super.
Suh-weet!!
Are those CDRs I see in there????
No one is going to do 15,000 CD-Rs, not to mention the music only edition.
I missed out on the limited, numbered set with the book (cue the trombones). The slipcase design for the all-music edition seems cool too. :-)
suuuuuuuuuper cool...
Nice! I need that!
Cool!
Love it.
Is this the same as the vinyl release of the shows individually
That looks soooooo cooool!! Packaging is awesome..I bet theyre in demand and will soon be sellin for silly-money online..Id love to own one..Ah well.
The "music only" version ain't too shabby either.
Good !!

Did not Phil once say "leave nothing but your foot prints" While it looks nice, its to much bling.

No, that is not too big. That is effing awesome! Haters should be forced to listen to nothing but Phish.
Mine just arrived today: I didn't get the nice book!

Buy slimline cases to put the discs in or burn the discs and sell the set on ebay for the outrageous price this thing will soon be worth.
You're gonna need a bigger shelf
WOW WHAT THE HECK IS ALL THAT...DANGG
