I was about to say the same. Most people forget torque altogether. "Horsepower sells the cars, Torque wins the race"

@scottybo Well actually, you're better off changing at 6-6500 so that when it hits the next gear, it links near peak power. If you were to change earlier, say at 4-5k, you'd be out of the power band for the next gear, thus making your run slower.
